GDT Mavs at Suns game 7
Either we face the warriors or we get to sit back and enjoy our accomplishments
Either way the Suns had their hands full and need to know that we’re for real

Win or lose, I'm absolutely thrilled with how this season has turned about because I was NOT optimistic at all. With Donnie and Carlisle leaving at the same time, the organization seamed to be utterly dysfunctional, and I thought Kidd was a simply terrible hire. I thought we had taken more than a step backwards.
And even after the regular season turned out to be a success and we got past Utah, I never imagined we'd take this juggernaut Suns team to 7 games. I thought we would have been damn lucky to make it 6.
I seriously have not been close to this happy with a Mavs season since 2011. This is awesome.

I know people think we need the x factors like Dinwiddie and Bullock to step up, but this game is all about Luka. Give us 50 young man and ye shall prevail!!!
GO MAVS!!!

What a day to be a Dallas fan. 2 game 7’s between the Mavs and Stars. Hell of a season win or lose. Sending CP3 home without a ring would be icing on the cake.

I'm pleasantly shocked that we've been able to go 13 games deep into the POs with Powell as our starting center considering we've been going up against Rudy and Ayton with no true legit sized backup.
We're playing with house money as far as I'm concerned, but I still think we have given ourselves a golden opportunity to steal this from Phoenix and taking this game will say a lot more about the already great character of this team.
Win or lose I'm proud of this team, but the greedy part of me says they should take this one because they've come too far and grown too much to let this opportunity get away.

Echoes and reverberations of what y'all said. Super proud of this team either way! That being said, I really wanna see Booker's eye liner run as he cries a thousand tears! Fuck him.
LETS! GO! MAVS!!!

Luka in game 7s
46pts and 14ast on 57% shooting
Better surrounding cast and a repeat of that trend and we could have a good one

Last year vs the Clippers DFS was basically the only other player who performed well in taht game after Luka.
This year Brunson, Kleber, Bullock and DFS all have to be at their best to win this game.
The Mavs troubles with Phoenix usually come after halftime they go into these prolonged shooting slumps and the defense falls apart.
I'm hoping thy can finally put together a strong 2nd half and Luka has to limit turnovers and take smart shots.
The Phoenix crowd will erupt every chance they get and give the Suns energy. Every time I've been to a Suns game this year they go for the knockout punch in the 3rd QTR which is why they are unbeatable if they lead after that 3rd Qtr because they kill your team spirit.

I think we’ll win today. Suns haven’t shown anyway they can even slow down Luka much less stop him. If Jalen can just support him and everyone else shoots at least 30%+ from 3 then we win this easily.
GSW will be a tough matchup though and one that I can see getting ugly. Still will be a massive accomplishment to even get to the semi finals for that opportunity.

I have a night dive tonight which will result in me missing most, if not all of the game. I'll be chilling with some sea horses and octopuses while sending positive vibes. Let's go Mavs!!

2 turnovers already on lazy passes. Need to take care of the ball more like they do in Dallas.

Booker has such a punch-able face. You’d think he was injured severely everytime he feels contact.

Spencer picking right up where he left off from game 6. Now just need Bullock and Brunson to hit some shots and Phoenix is in trouble.

Lazy ass rebounding effort to close the first quarter. Bertans can’t let that happen.

Come on both Bertans and Powell just standing there on that defensive rebound. Neither one of them went to box out after a great defensive stop.

Officials did a solid job of letting them play and not calling too many fouls that quarter. Let’s see if they change their tune this quarter.

JB gets tackled by CP3 no call. CP3 runs into JB and it’s a foul.

You and me both
The Mavs can't lose focus like they've done every game in the 2nd half in Phoenix
They need to bury them in that 3rd qtr

Stein
“With most of the same roster as last season's No. 21-ranked defense -- except for less rim protection and size -- Dallas just held Phoenix to 27 points in the first half of Game 7.
The 64-win Suns are the home team.”
