Default How has Bernard James looked in the pre season?

Just curious..I haven't seen many people talking about him. I know some may throw a fit about starting a new thread for this..but, it's not like things are all that hopping around here. I'd kinda like to track his pre-season progress or lack there of..

He hasn't played enough for me to formulate much of an opinion on personally. I think he is gonna be a solid player tho, when he is in I haven't noticed remarkable mistakes that make me think otherwise.

I was fairly impressed by his showing against the Rockets. He's obviously long and athletic which makes him an asset on defense, and while his offensive game looks to be unpolished, his ability to run the floor well will help him to get easy baskets on fast breaks from time to time. I agree with SMC. I feel like Bernard is going to turn out to be a surprisingly solid player for the Mavs.

He's looking good to me. He's not getting pushed around too bad. His decision making is OK. He's active but finds himself out of position on a few occasions.

Decent numbers too, including a 6-6 night against Houston.

He's nothing special so far, but not bad for our 4th option - even considering how injury-prone our centers are... He at least looks like he belongs in the NBA.

He'll probably just sit around and learn this year.. nothing wrong with that even though he's a bit up there in years.

Depends on how well Wright plays and injuries. A cpl of our bigs are probably gonna miss some games.

Oh sure.. He'll have a few opportunities. But I think he'll be sitting for the most part. Nothing wrong with sitting and learning behind Dirk, Kaman, and Brand...

Somewhere behind Pops Mensah Bonsu, ahead of Evan Eschmeyer.

He's very fast and active. But little really to keep him on the big team. He needs a lot more playing time against nba players and better coaching.

Kaman, brand, wright will be on the big club. If either gets hurt he'll come up. I'm interested to see how kaman does defensively when it counts, he could help some there.
