Gun control means hitting what you are aiming at

I hope there aren't any gun owners in America considering a vote for Obama...

And, if you support the same list of items below that Obama supports, move to England where most firearms are illegal (and the crime rate continues to climb instead of fall).

FACT: Barack Obama voted to ban almost all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.3

FACT: Barack Obama has endorsed a complete ban on handgun ownership.2

FACT: Barack Obama supports local gun bans in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and other cities.4

FACT: Barack Obama voted to uphold local gun bans and the criminal prosecution of people who use firearms in self-defense.5

FACT: Barack Obama supports gun owner licensing and gun registration.6

FACT: Barack Obama refused to sign a friend-of-the-court Brief in support of individual Second Amendment rights in the Heller case.

FACT: Barack Obama opposes Right to Carry laws.7

FACT: Barack Obama supported a proposal to ban gun stores within 5 miles of a school or park, which would eliminate almost every gun store in America.9

FACT: Barack Obama supports a ban on the resale of police issued firearms, even if the money is going to police departments for replacement equipment.9

This certainly helps explain why Illinois is 1 of 2 states in the Union that does not have a Conceal Carry law. He served in the State Senate prior to serving in the US Senate. But even with Obama voting against such laws, the State Legislature has passed a Conceal Carry law twice in Illinois, but both times the Governor vetoed it.

Just a few tidbits I learned while researching gun laws in Illinois, since my employer is transferring me there soon... So I may soon lose my status as a "law abiding citizen" when I carry in Illinois.

As the Supreme Court decision on the issue of the Washington DC gun ban is around the corner, I thought I'd give you a few quotes of a few notable persons with whom I disagree with:
