You guys get hostile for no reason. I was stating the obvious. The Rams are gonna go after his hand. Did I say anything false?

Just because I am a Redskin fan, doesn't mean I have an agenda against the Cowboys. I've lived near Dallas all my life. Why do you guys have to attack anything I say as a slash at the Cowboys? Quit being so defensive.

It may not have been harsh but it was definitely loaded. Whenever the media asks you to grade your performance they're basically saying "we think you're under performing but we want to hear you say it...if you don't we'll rip you mercilessly after the interview". They never ask the question if they think you're doing well. So basically they want to hear him grovel about being 4-2 and I can see why that would irritate him. He should have handled it better because it comes with the territory and he know that. That being said I understand why he responded the way he did.

I understand it as well, but the response was out of character for Wade. The question is a rather common one. You're right that its a nice way of asking a coach to critique his team, but its not an uncommon question, and quite frankly, one he should expect with his team playing the way it has the past three weeks.

That or, "And that was a disgraceful performance in my opinion. We threw that game. We gave it away by doing that. We gave them the freaking game. In my opinion that sucked."
Or
"Well what happened was that second half, we just got our [butts] totally kicked. We couldn't do diddly-poo offensively... we sucked. In the second half, we sucked."

What's going to be on the back of their jerseys? I notice Felix Jones' jersey just says Jones as does Pac-Man's. Usually you see their first name initial and their last name.

Polk Signed For LB, Special Teams Depth
IRVING, Texas - With injuries affecting all aspects of special teams this week - coverage and returns - the Cowboys signed veteran linebacker Carlos Polk, who had double-digit special teams tackles in four of his seven seasons with the San Diego Chargers.
To make room for Polk, the Cowboys placed wide receiver Sam Hurd (ankle surgery) on injured reserve, ending his season. Hurd finished sixth on the team with 15 special teams tackles last year.
Polk also should provide depth at outside linebacker with Anthony Spencer (hamstring), another key special teams player, unlikely to play Sunday at St. Louis.
"It's great coming to something that you're familiar to," said Polk, who played for Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips' defense in San Diego from 2004-06. "They have the same schedule, same terminology. When they start speaking, you know the lingo already."
Polk's primary role will be special teams. The unit's leading tackle, Kevin Burnett, missed practice again Thursday with a calf injury, and special teams captain Keith Davis was limited again because of a thumb laceration that required stitches. He's expected to play.
On defense, Phillips said Bobby Carpenter would replace Burnett in substitution packages if he couldn't play.
Released by the Chargers at the end of preseason, Polk has been training in San Diego and waiting on phone calls from interested teams. The Cowboys happened to have a need at linebacker and special teams.
"He's a Keith Davis type guy as far as I'm concerned," Phillips said. "He's a special teams guy that can play defense, play linebacker, play all the positions at linebacker."
