He was pretty savvy though batting the ball out of bounds tho...but nothing compares to this quick-thinking in the end zone

Gotta love the kid's passion. I thought since draft day that he'd contribute to this team.

As good as Pittsburgh's defense has been he's going to have to get pretty close to the record to have a shot at finishing ahead of Harrison and Polamalu.

He's already pretty close to the record. Only 3.5 sacks away!

For the next game, I figure the Ravens are going to throw more of that unbalanced line formation out, that'll probably burn them though with Ellis or someone else.

I'd be really, really surprised if Baltimore scores an offensive TD next week. And I'm not giving the Dallas defense any praise there...they have absolute jack sh!t crap on offense in Baltimore, and they're playing in the final game ever at texas stadium. It's going to be exactly the same as tonight. A completely talentless road team doing what talentless teams do on offense.

My thoughts exactly. I don's see how the Ravens score enough points to win that game.

A Cowboys win.
A Redskins loss.
It's gonna be a great week at work. =]

This win goes to the cowboys defense. The Cowboys defense has played good enough to win the last two games. Against the Steelers, Romo did a poor job of managing the game in the 4th quarter. Tonight Romo did a wonderful job managing the game. Simple as that. Romo numbers were not outstanding, but just like I said, he does not need outstanding numbers, just manage the game and we will be fine.
We finally see Garrett making some better decisions as well in crunch time. We had Garrett and Romo managing this game to help seal the win. This is exactly what we need in "Big Games". We will need this same kind of performance against the Eagles as well for Romo. I think that the Eagles game will be a good solid test to see how far along Romo is with his maturing and growth in managing the game.
I think it is classless for the fans to boo T.O. The Cowboys will need T.O. in order to get to the playoffs and to win in the playoffs. Stupid as* fans for doing that. T.O. is the one player on the field who can relieve pressure off of Romo. If T.O. does not get the ball or is moved in the right position to make an impact, we will see Romo on his back for large chunks of the game. The Eagles are going to dial it up on Romo on Sunday. You can bet your bottom dollar on that.
I think the biggest game of the season is against the Eagles. If Garrett and Romo manage a good game, we can win that game away from home. IMO
No matter what, T.O. has to have an impact on that game. But to boo him is classless. If you boo the team, it is alright, but to single out your star is NOT right at the game.

Should be only 3 away but that's another story. A two sack game next week and he starts generating the buzz it'll take to have a shot.

I didn't hear the booing of t.o. but I heard about it later. Just goes to show how average fans will eat any shat that gets fed to them.

He didn't have outstanding numbers? His passer rating was 114! What do you call outstanding?
I understand clinging to you point but at least be intellectually honest.

Can you read???? I doubt it, so I just figured you wanted to find a way to argue with me for no reason at alll. There is NOT a single reason to boo any of your stars "AT" a game. No matter what you think of T.O., there is not a reason to boo him there at home. Very classless...

If Romo goes 9 for 13 for 112yds with 2 TD, and no interceptions what would the rating be? Take your time and try to be honest on your answer..

It might be classless or whatever...but they have every right to do so. They paid their hard-earned money to go to that game, and if they see something they don't like, they're going to react.

That should be a capped out QB rating (~158). What's your point?

How could you agree it is classless? So, when Romo gets an usual late game fumble or INT is it alright to boo him? You would have a fit if the fans did. That was classless. You dont boo your star players. PERIOD....Now, you can boo your team for not playing up to par, but to single out T.O. like that was over the top.
The fans did that during introductions as well, so it had nothing to do with performance on the field. That classless act came from what people read in the media and from the media who wants T.O. and Jerry Jones to fail...

Doesn't matter. He was 20-30 for 244 yards...while getting his ass kicked and not having a running game most of the night. Don't try to dodge the issue by dissecting the passer rating stat.

And you're right here, those stats don't do Romo justice. Let's see what Romo had to overcome tonight:
1) Shaky protection against a ferocious d-line
2) A back injury (and when you have to throw pinpoint passes, an injury that breaks chain of movement in your core IS a big deal)
3) Feuding among his receivers that they weren't getting the ball enough
4) Injuries to his top two running backs
5) Talk from certain folks that he is "A LOSER"
This team was on the verge of collapse. Now Romo wasn't the only one that came up big performance (the D was huge as was The People's Choice). But Romo was huge tonight if only for all the mental toughness he showed tonight.

Only issue is the one you make. Now continue to find a negative way to spin this. I see you had your excuses ready just in case Romo faltered again. I put the excuses in bold just in case you wanted to see if I saw them.
Now finish twisting my post to find a way to make it negative. Cowboys won tonight, and T.O, Garrett, Whitten, Romo, Phillips and the Cowboy defense contributed to the win..

How is that excuses? How many people are there on a team?
I have yet to see a single team in football led by ONE player to a championship.

A fan is short for fanatical, they're going to do some things you might consider absurd, that's just the nature of the beast. They made a decision and they stuck to it. People are going to be rude and heckle, and they have the right to...it happens.
You don't know me, so don't assume what I'm going to do when 'x' happens.

So, what are you saying? Are you saying that Romo had built-in excuses to fail tonight, but did his part as the starting QB? I am wondering because I am trying to figure out who is talking negative about Romo today, that you have to defend him and give him some built-in excuses?

All I'm saying is Romo certainly played like a WINNER tonight, and I certainly don't think he all of the sudden figured out how to do that within the span of one week.
Do you?

It was a bad reason to boo, but you can't blame 'em.
All those newbs booed because they were fooled by Ed Werder.
