Default Iceman King Parsons

I noticed a quote by the great Iceman King Parsons on kg_veterans signature. When I was little, I could not wait for weekend wrestling. He was always my favorite wrestler. When I started working, I got the distinct pleasure and honor of working with Iceman's wife, Virginia at Tom Thumb in Duncanville. He would come in and browse the videos for rent, all the while I would be pestering him telling him how much I used to love watching him wrestle.

I am sure I whipped him into submission.

So here's to the great, Iceman King Parsons!!!!

Yeah, pretty sure it was David, I remember him doing the 'Iron Claw' all the time, haha.

Anyone remember the short wrestler with the parrot? What was his name, Koko B. Ware or something? Too funny.

Default RE: Iceman King Parsons

There were three VonErichs. Two have died, I think Kevin is the only remaining one.

Wrong...there was Fritz and his four sons...the name of the youngest escapes me....

David died in Japan of some stomach problem.
Kerry and the youngest committed suicide.
kevin remains...on a ranch in the Lewisville area.
There was also another brother who died very young. Electrocuted, I believe.

i'm not a wrestling fan, but growing up in Dallas...you knew who they were.

A very tragic family, all things considered.

Edit: My Bad KG...forgot about mike.

David died in Japan following a serious infection.
Kerry, Mike, and Chris killed themselves (Kerry with a shotgun, Chris with a handgun, and Mike with pills).
Kevin still lives in Denton County.

Here are some excellent links with more info:
