lol you should see what Chuck Cooperstein recently said on twitter. He said Mavs fans don't deserve nice things because of our criticisms of FA.

Now that Josh Green is back is he joining the Summer League team? He needs to work on his offensive game. We need him to come through with a solid 3 to 5 points per game as the only 1st round draft pick we will have this first half of the decade.

He's not joining the SL team. Unless something oddly changes. I don't hate that either. That shit show isn't going to really do much for his game. No one can run the offense and it was hard to watch. The experience in practice vs Australia's 1s even with limited Olympics mins is better than joining this SL team.

My problem with Cato wasn’t the Bob article which was obviously well written and researched considering the fallout. My problem is since that article Cato has turned every Mavs piece into an expose. Sometime I just want to hear about basketball. My second problem is Cato is obviously getting frozen out by the Mavs organization which means he no longer has an “inside scoop.” His articles are all regurgitated forum board discussions. So he doesn’t discuss basketball Xs and Os, and he doesn’t have the inside scoop. To be fair, it’s not just him. Most DFW sports journalists are mediocre.

I say neh. This SL experience has more potential to wreck his confidence than build it. SL in general is typically thrown together with lack of practice time and chemistry.

It's prob a good thing you didn't watch it. Imagine a SL team getting embarrassed and routed by damn near 40pts for a while. Some local HS teams might have performed better tbh. Hopefully todays game is better.

Honestly, I have never liked Cuban and wasn’t upset that he was exposed in the least. However, I’ve never liked Cato’s writing.

Yeah but its helping a lot of guys....all of these Summer League games are messy...if Josh Green is the player he's suppose to be then he should be out there and helping his game. Especially if guys like Bane or Bey are out there. b

I can believe he was upset about not being the primary ball handler...I Think it was harder for him to play without being that...I was hoping he'd have developed a consistent jumper by now.

And yeah its like some kind of wish on my part. I Admit. Loved him in college and loved him here. If they never go back which is what I expect I wouldn't really have a issue.

I was just about to post that. The anecdotal stuff phases me very little. If you've never had a tough coach in your life then you likely never played a sport.

And you know Cuban loves hard nosed coaches since he is a great admirer of Bobby Knight.

It's far more concerning that Kidd didn't have a better record there. That's all I really care about. And frankly, winning is all anyone really cares about anyway.

Being a jerkoff for a coach might have something to do with that record. It’s not a coincidence Bud came in and took them from .500 to 60 wins. This isn’t college or high school basketball. That schtick is ridiculous for professional basketball.

Anecdotal? You could take all of Ricks bullshit and brush it off all the same. Our only hope is that Kidd has grown otherwise this will not end well. None of those reports of Kidds coaching and treatment of players will result in more wins. Only an idiot would think that works.

What contradictions? If you’re talking about the Android thing, you can go back through Thon Makers tweets during that year and he was using an android.
