Your 4th place Mavs (10-8) take on the Cavs (10-10) tonight.

Kidd said that Maxi is playing well but for now Willie is the starting Center.

Mavs probable starters: Luka Doncic, Tim Hardaway Jr., Dorian Finney-Smith, Kristaps Porzingis, Willie Cauley-Stein

Cavs: Darius Garland, Isaac Okoro, Lauri Markkanen, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen

Idc what the line says, this game is going to be tough. They have some weapons with size that could be a problem. We really need to get this one and get back some momentum and catch a win streak.

Mavs primary issues in losing 4 of last 5 have been 4th qtr defense where opp has shot 54%. They play CLE tonight & in last 6 outings they haven't had to worry about 4th qtr as they've won by 21.2 avg (27.3 in last 4).

Mavs really need their bigs to be active tonight as CLE starts the tallest front line in @NBA in Markkanen, Mobley & Allen who go 7-0, 7-0 & 6-11 respectively. Mobley is the early leader for Rookie of Yr. Texas-ex Allen avg 15-11. In 4 games vs DAL Markkanen avg 21.8-10 on 54% FG

What is coop talking about in Cavs last 6 outings they've won by 21.2? He lost me. They lost 4 straight before just beating Orlando.

Unfortunately, Markkanen was literally the last decent available FA. Mavs never seem to have an actual plan B in free agency.

Like I said, nothing makes sense. From constant dnpcd to starter. Same odd approach with Willie, he stinks and looks very g league and then all the sudden a starter. I'm not dissing Kidd but it doesn't make sense. I get that Cavs have a big lineup but all the sudden Mose is ready to start coming from 12 dnpcd and 4 games under 3 mins. 1 game this season he got 8 mins. Lol shit is wild in the NBA

I don't think the plan is to play him actual normal starter minutes. Willie "started" but played 17 and 10 mins.

I was actually going to watch the game and buy league pass when I heard Moses was starting, but I tuned in late to check an internet feed and saw Powell playing. Needless to say, I didn't buy League Pass, and I'm going to binge watch some Xanxia drama. LOL

Why do you think the Knicks aren't playing Kemba anymore? He's done. He's been so bad they've decided to roll with Alec Burks and Immanuel Quickley at point guard. Quickley is solid but he's not even starting. It's not like they just moved Kemba to the bench, he's been so bad they can't even play him at all. Why would we want to trade for that?

Speaking of unplayable, Bullock was 0-3 and isn't playing the defense promised. Kemba has one less year on his contract as well and could at least play PG in a pinch.

If you have another way to get rid of provides nothing Bullock, then I'm all ears.

Yes, Luka Doncic's on/off splits this season are stunning.

The Mavs have been outscored by 110 points with Doncic on the floor this season.

The only player in the NBA on a winning team with a worse plus/minus is Kemba Walker (-122)

On/off worst stats in sports. Playing a bulk of minutes with Powell doesn't help. Also his +/- would look remarkably different if the guys he plays with hit their open shots he sets them up for.

How dis the Mavs org not show any interest in Anthony Caruso during FA.

At this point the Mavs need to just package all of their centers and trade them for anything they can get.

You can make an argument that they would have been better off just signing J.McGee and living with him for a full year.

Part of me doesn't even want to see Luka have to bail them out again because it's everything that is wrong with this team. Everyone is shit, and he has to do it all....again. It's just frankly not fun to watch.

Honestly I think a guy like Tristian Thompson might be sneaky good pickup for Dallas.

He's a physical hard playing guy who can actually finish inside.

Cubes probably won't even bother though because he's all about that locker room chemistry and good boy attitude.

I'd throw Powell, Kleber, Bullock, Brunson & Green at them if it could net you a combination of Hield, Thompson/Bagley

I'd keep my eye on Jonas. Pelicans are bad enough that you might be able to get him for the right price.
