Coach Fran might lose his top recruit
Bennett puts name in the draft
if he were to be picked (unlikely)...would he be the first reverse Tony Gonzalez/Antonio Gates?

As much as I'd love to se A&M lose Bennet after he spurned Texas, there's no way he going to the NBA...I think he's a power forward and he looks skinny for a TE. Plus one of the reasons he gave for choosing A&M over Texas was that he had a better chance to play early…anybody who is scared to compete with PJ Tucker has no place in the NBA.
He's a known attention whore so I see this as an obvious plot to get his name in the paper again.

That was the risk he took for signing this kid. There was always a chance he would bolt to the NBA.
