My Official Guess for Next Season Seeding
East
1. Indiana- the Central Division will be almost as tough as the Southwest div.
2. Miami- who's going to challenge then in the southeast
3. New Jersey- they wont have THAT good of a record, but are here by default with noone to challenge them, lack of froncourt wont be that big of a deal, as only shaq, and bogut are decent offensively
4. Detroit- with Indiana back to full stenght, they wont have a chance to win Central
5. Cleveland- hughes, jones, and marshall propel them over chicago for 3rd in central
6. Chicago- still very young, but really good, they need to find a center if they can get curry back
7. Orlando- Dwight Howard, all-star
8. Boston- badly needs a point guard, and maybe a center or two, pierce, davis, and now gerald green? WOW!
It was tough to leave Milwaukee out, but I just dont see all five teams in the Central div. making the playoffs, if they were in the Atlantic.....they would be the number 3 seed
***********
West
1. San Antonio- only thing which could go wrong is TD getting injured
2. Phoenix- pretty strong division, but who's going to challeng them? lakers? clippers? warriors?
3. Denver- theyre in a weak division
4. Dallas- has 2nd best record, but again fall victim to being in a div. with san antonio
5. Houston- their big three (tmac, yao, swift) is nowhere near the level nash, fin, and dirk were at, plus they need a pass first point guard...
6. Golden State- they have good depth, they a good, young core, and they had a good draft
7. Lakers- Zen master is back, kobe is motivated, kwame brown is motivated, andrew bynum looks like he might actually do something, and lamar odom is ready to play point-forward a la pippen
8. Minnesota- Garnett is mean, black, and motivated....rashad mccants can shoot...marko jaric can be a beast IF he can stay healthy
based on this we would be matched up against houston again.....SWEEEET!
