1st team All Defense
Look at the 4 contenders. All have players identified as 1 team defensive, lakers have 2. Shaq, Kobe, Garnett, Wallace, and Artest. Is there a 1st teamer in the draft? If so how does Dallas get him? If not how how does Dallas acquire one? Clearly this piece puts us in the elite 4, albeit we were there two years ago without a 1st teamer all defensive. But, we had the dagger in Nick the Quick, probably the best 2G performance in last year's playoff run.
Hopefully the Lakeshow will lose Kobe to free agency this year thus reducing their All Defensive team to 1. Shaq retires =0?
