Default Should/Can the Mavs trade for a HIGH pick

There was an article on ESPN or Hoopshype just recently talking about teams that could do this summer. The Mavs were included in that. The two team that didnt make any moves and seem to be in trouble financially are the Bucks and Washington. Both will probably have a high pick, but they don't want to take on that kind of money.

Sooo should the Mavs trade for one of these picks, let say by sending Stack out. This is what the article was suggesting.

OR would it be better to try to get one of the current player of these teams like Redd or Butler or another such player.

IMO we should go for the picks because these teams are in trouble, but they also have high picks. We can get current players from other teams that are in trouble but dont have picks. There are a few of those out there as well.

Any thoughts????
