the spurs in the 10 man case not so much in the 8 man case
Mavs second Five
A. Johnson (4-1-2, 41%, 73%) / Udrih (5-1-2, 35%. 92%) - This is almost a wash (I like Johnson shooting %)
G. Buckner (4-2-1, 39%, 84%) / Finley (7-3-1, 37%, 88%) - Numbers are close, Buckner knows how to spell defense and is known for it, Finley is the opposite.
J. Stackhouse (10-2-2, 41%, 81%) / Barry (8-2-2, 49%, 91%) - I'll give you this one, Barry has a better %'s but he is also VERY OLD and slow .. nothing but a spot up shooter. I'll take Stackhouse
D. George (6-3-0, 38%, 65%) / Horry (4-4-1, 34%, 57%) - I'll take George across the board, he is younger too
D. Diop (2-5-0-1.3, 44%, 63%) / Elson (5-5-1-0.7, 52%, 87%) - His numbers are not there, but his blocks (Twice Elsons) start to show his worth to the team.
Of the second five, only AJ doesn't get serious playing time. The Mavs play a nine man rotation. You add Croshere to the bench, but as you can see, he is father down the depth chart then you think. Croshere would not see playing time before George, Stackhouse or Diop (unless one of them is in the doghouse .. Diop)
I would take the Mavs in all the comparisons, how can you take the Spurs before them?
