I wouldn't just assume it's going to be a cakewalk. There was no reason it should have gone to game 7.

I kinda feel like both teams are sorta chokers, and we look like the slightly bigger chokers right now.

Brunson had a terrible stretch where he missed two Fts, missed a layup, allowed a Zubac tip to lead to a Kawhi 3 and then missed a jumper.

Honestly I kinda hope we lose the series... I mean duh of course I want to beat the bitch ass clippers and go as far as we can... But if we do that, we are a whole lot less likely to make some pretty big changes to our team...

Whereas if we lose this series... God I hope Cuban would finally let Rick go (needs to happen and has needed to happen) and we will shake up this roster which, let's be honest, is not good! Best case scenario? We win series and make finals and lose to Nets. And that would all be due entirely to Luka. And we probly wouldn't change much with our team....

We aren't there yet guys. Not even that close. We need better players around Luka. And IMHO a new damn coach

I’ve been saying this over and over... KP can’t just stand out there on offense like a mannequin. They have to involve him.

This team is like Dirk Mavs in the 2000s. Way too dependent on one player to carry the load, even more so now because Luka has to not only score but give double digit assists and rebounds which Dirk was not a point guard. I don't see it improving in the coming years either unless we can trade KP for a star which I don't see.

After being part of 31 of 37 fgs last game I expected a low key game, especially with only one day rest. But I feel like they should’ve prepared for that and threw out a wrinkle like KP heavy involvement.

Enough of this take. KP isn't involved because he can't do jack shit. He can't post up Batum, he can't take a wing off the dribble, he can't hit threes with a smaller player on him. KP is garbage.

It's highly unlikely they can do much else but slightly improve the roster. The best we can probably hope for is trade KP for a package of players that fit better but they aren't going to be stars. So it'll still be Luka and role players. The best teams all have at least 2 stars, Nets have 3.

Early it looked like the Mavs had worked on some offensive sets with the Boban-KP combo. It wasn't perfect in the first quarter, but I thought it was much improved in the 3rd. Mavs had a really nice run with Boban making back to back baskets at the rim. Hell, even DFS found his stroke and some rhythm with those 5.

WTF, did RC not close with that same starting 5? They played their best minutes together in the 3rd. Instead, we get that garbage ass set with a worthless Maxi out there, and we just gift the Clippers the game.

Clocks ticking on LUKA he not dirk and WILLnot stay until they get it right.

Luka is ultra competitive and will take responsibility for the loss, not try to go team up with superstars. I don't believe he's built that way and there's no evidence at all he is other than speculation. Nobody leaves until the 3rd contract anyway they get the max first and they leave at about 28 years old. That's 6 years from now for Luka. If we haven't at least reached the Finals then, I'll support him leaving.

Sad part is they labeled him untouchable around the trade deadline

Brunson is ok player but these playoffs are just further proof he's just a average pg can sometimes score if he's not being focused on

He can't pass very well either and defensively he's a lost cause.

Stotts out in Portland after FOUR 1st round exits in the last FIVE seasons.

Although they’ve done a lot better putting many players around Dame. Can’t have two undersized guards as your best players though.
