O'Neal Headed To Knicks?
But sources say O'Neal already has told the Pacers he wants to be traded to the Knicks and former Pacers coach and close friend Isiah Thomas. Would the Pacers take Stephon Marbury or maybe a package with Steve Francis, Jared Jeffries and Channing Frye and the Bulls' first-round pick, which the Knicks own in the swap? - Chicago Tribune

why the hell would he want to go to the knicks lol? that's like career suicide. I would think some other teams would need him more than the knicks...

He is a player that can change the Knicks to a winning playoff team.

He's a not a shoot-first point guard so I can't see Isiah wanting him in a Knicks uniform.

This was written by Sam Smith, it has about as much chance of happening as U2 giving up his wife and taking Sike as his wife. It just isn't happening.
Now if this trade does happen.........sorry I jinxed you Sike.

"It's going to have to be the perfect deal (to get O'Neal out), because you know from the deal they made with us (landing Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy) it didn't work out for them," Jackson said. "They don't want to make a bad deal again. I think it would have to be a perfect deal.

Hahahahahahah@Stephen Jackson. He's right though.
Knicks bringing in JO would be great for them. Finally a trade for a big man. Him and Eddy Curry in the paint could do some damage. Q-Rich and Jamal on the perimeter isn't bad at all.

Plenty of talent, of course, but that's not what the Knicks have necessarily lacked these past two seasons.

Yea you're right but they've lacked the right type of talent. They have the worst type of talent. High, overpriced guards. That's the worst position to have a great quantity at and all of them are overpriced. Honestly, I believe they're stuck with them. If they can trade any of their guards for a big man like O'Neal that would put them over the top to atleast compete in the East. They have some youth to deal. Nate and Channing Frye should get a team to take on Franchise or Marbury's contract.

A lineup that features this season's Curry, along with O'Neal, Q-Rich, Crawford, and Maubury would be more than a handfull to guard. Teams in the east better wish this weren't true.

Somehow I seriously doubt Indy and NY doing any business. Both in the east as well.
