The hype officially started:

Quote:
Durant is a champion. He’s an NBA Finals MVP. And after averaging 35.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists, at 6-foot-10 with a 7-foot-6 wingspan, guard-like skills and sniper-like abilities, he’s officially cemented his status as one of the greatest the game has ever seen.
I'll stick to my initial assessment though. He's not going to crack the top 20 when it's all said and done.

There's also one thing re: ratings that Bill Simmons brought up in one of his recent podcasts. He said fans like superteams and that the ratings in the Finals are not necessarily indicative of a league's health. Like even if you top the Finals' ratings each and every year because people want to see LeBron vs. Curry IX, revenue might still be down because literally nobody watches any games before that.

So the trend might show in local markets first where fans don't give a shit following a regular season with a predetermined ending. I think this is a valid argument.

Lol. That's what you get for being a sissy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5djm18VWhYk

What I'm amazed about the most is the fact that Kevin wants respect. It was a simple trade-off, he chose titles over it. So why does he look so pissed?

Because Kevin Durant is a bitch. Nobody respects a bitch.
