This list serves as a quick introduction to some of our new features. Click the FAQ link on the navigation bar for more about vBulletin.
How to format text in messages: - Switch to either Standard or Enhanced editing mode (User CP option). - Use vB codes. List of codes can also be accessed from the Posting Rules box at the bottom of each screen. How to get a custom avatar: - Make a donation or have at least 3000 posts (Diamond Member status). - Avatar must be manually submitted by the Administrator. - Upgrade your account (see post below). How to view the top 20 posters: - Quick Links >> Miscellaneous >> Display Top Posters Private Messages: - Registered users can store up to 250 private messages. - Users will be unable to send/receive new messages once this limit is reached. - Private messages can be managed in the User CP. Attachments: - Registered users can upload up to 200KB. - Supported formats: bmp, doc, gif, jpeg, jpg, pdf, psd, txt, zip - Attachments can be managed in the User CP. Reputation System basics: - default reputation level for new users is 10pts - must have 10 reputation pts in order for hits to count on others - must have 100 minimum posts in order for hits to count on others - 10 reputation clicks may be given over each 24 hour period - reputation must be given to 10 different users before you can hit the same person again How to earn reputation-altering power: - gain 1pt for every 100 days registered - gain 1pt for every 250 reputation pts earned Last edited by djb; 12-27-2005 at 11:37 PM. |

Donations and Account Upgrades
- You can donate via the PayPal link at the bottom of the screen at any time to support the site and get a custom avatar (no minimum amount, but avatar must be manually submitted by the administrator). - For those of you wanting increased pm and attachment space, you will soon will be able to upgrade your account by make an annual donation through your User CP. Doing so will increase both your private message storage and attachment capacities, as well as give you the ability to upload your own custom avatars and profile pics (and other features we'll soon be implementing).  Go to User CP >> Miscellaneous >> Paid Subscriptions Payments are made via PayPal and account upgrades are good for one year. |

Thanks for the changes DJ. I really appreciate the look of the site as well as the speed at which posts are generated. This site always was the best NBA/Mavs fan site I'd ever found, and now it's about 10 times better! Great work.

 you can use it by typing : rolleyes : remove the spaces between the :'s. |

I was wondering if anyone else had tried to search old postings? I was trying to search for an official Diop thread but couldn't get past threads that have been commented on since the re-emergence.
DJ...tried to send this as a PM, but something seemed to be awry, there.

The sponsored links only appear after the first post of each thread. This site receives 30,000+ pageviews a day, and yet we've only been getting a couple clicks per day on the ads along the top of the screen (more often than not, we get just 1 click total).
As soon as I figure how to do it, these ads will be turned off for members with subscriptions. |

All I know is right above where it says who gave you the rep, the very top of that it says how many rep points you have. I'm confused to cuz I have 6 green boxes and I don't have that many points or days.

The green boxes refer to people giving YOU points, not you giving others reputation.

When you get 100 days, or 250 rep "points" you get a box.) It doesn't seem to be an exact science unless it uses a combination of both (say you get a point for 50 days AND 125 points combined) cause I've gotten boxes before I reached one of those two number.
