Default WVU vs. Louisville

Sure, it's on at the same time as the Mavs' game, so it's tough to pay attention to this game, but Louisville just drove 75 yards in 6 plays for a td to take a 12-7 lead (extra point or two point conversion pending), and looked good doing it. Not terribly impressed with the WVU defense...

Slaton has the WVU td on a 42 yard run.

EDIT: on first play after Louisville td, WVU hits a flanker screen pass with a 30-yard run after the catch (broke a db's ankles)

WVU answers right back with a td. 13-13 (pending WVU extra point).

Just to keep the running update with myself, offenses are really turning it up here in the second quarter of this game. Louisville hits a 30+ yard pass play on the first play after the WVU touchdown.

From what I've seen I'd be okay with WV in the MNC. We'll see who takes this one, but I think both teams are pretty overrated based on their lack of competition.

Louisville facing a third and goal from the 3 yard line with less than 2 minutes left in the first half. First two runs netted about one yard total. Should've used play action on second down, imho.

Louisville runs a QB option draw and gets stuffed at the 1. Huge hold for WVU as Louisville had a first and goal from the 5 yard line. 16-14, Louisville.

The question in my mind is whether Louisville should be the team with the inside track on the BCS game at this point? If WVU would have won I would have thought they had the inside track. I'm not so certain about Louisville. I guess we will see on Sunday.

EDIT: still, big props to Louisville coming into this game, taking a couple punches from WVU in the first half, and basically taking over in the second half.
