Default Joakim Noah Arrested for Possession

http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archiv...or_possession/

Could face six months in prison. It happened during the offseason, so is he liable for any punishment by the league?

Bulls forward Joakim Noah has been arrested for possession of marijuana and having an open container of alcohol, according to The Associated Press.

Noah was arrested very early Sunday morning in Gainesville, Florida. An officer saw him walking on the sidewalk with the drink, and police found marijuana in his pocket back at the station.

He could face up to six months in jail and a $500 fine.

You can't control what the marijuana do.

He was in Gainesville, hanging out with his college buddies apparently.

Trade someone who claims to smoke it in the offseason for someone who was busted smoking it in the offseason? Why not?

Joakim isn't going to jail for marijuana lol. Its not cocaine distribution or anything. He'll get a slap on the wrist. Actually i'm not even sure if its a slap on the wrist. Who goes to jail for having weed on them?

Erm, it was a joke. It's hard to be sarcastic here.

What the hell was he arrested for? The story says that he was arrested for possession and for having an open container of alcohol, yet the possession was not discovered until he was already at the hoosegow. So they arrested him for the open container? I highly, highly doubt that. In Texas it's a Class C misdemeanor and a ticket, and they don't haul your ass off to jail (absent any other crimes, of course).
