Maybe so. Maybe it's harder for the players on the field to see the play but I would think someone would go to Parcells and say that Portis was down by contact atleast. I could've sworn two guys got him down.

"We can't pick the blitz apart because our backs and tight ends are missing the blitz pick ups "

I'm the first to admit that Hambrick is not a starting running back in this league but one thing he could do really well is pick up a blitz.

Hambrick did nothing well. He was average on his best day. The running back situation in Dallas now is so much better than it was last year.

Actually, the two times two main times the skins got to the QB, it was either a lineman that didn't pick up the blitz (flozell) or Vinnie that didn't see the DB blitz to the side where there was no extra blocker to pick 'em up.

When the safety got in, Campbell missed his block...check the tape.

Dirno, I'll take your word for it...you're probably right because I just thought of a third time which is probably the one you are referencing.

George needs to be cut. Last possession on second down, he went down on a shoestring tackle on a play that should have resulted in at least 10 yards....

Witten is a stud. Once the 'boys got their issues with their pass protection taken care of, it was relatively easy pickings for Vinnie. Let's hope this continues.

With all the weapons the Cowboys have on the field I see no reason why we can't walk down the field on this Redskin's defense like this all game long.

Whitten and Bryant emerging this year are huge developments. If Henson can catch up this will be a very good team for a long long time.

The 'skins score 3 points because of a horrible officiating call that was not challenged by the 'boys in the first half.
The 'skins score 7 points in the second half because of a horrible penalty on Wiley in the second half.

That second down play was idiotic. I hate the receiver screen to a slow receiver. It's not a play that's going to work with a slow receiver...EVER.

It doesn't matter Sike. It's not a play that would have worked anyways. Why resort to receiver screens when they just waltzed down the field on their last possession?
still, missing that assignment is just pathetic

You don't run screens to running back screens to slow running backs.
You don't run receiver screens to slow receivers.

It's football common sense.

Sure, but it looked like the DB sniffed the play out rather quickly. That makes it much more difficult for a receiver to make that difficult block.
