I am new to this site, but one common factor is everyone's infatuation with trying to place our Mavericks in some sort of NBA pecking order. Who cares if Finley is 5 or 10, who cares where Howard and Dirk rank amoung Forwards. Who Cares. It's all about where this team finishes at the End of the season. It's about how we start the season, and take advantage of a kinder schedual. It's about 1-12, and who gets placed on the Injured list. Who gets cut, and finaly the season starts in 8 days. How do the Mavericks stack up against Detroit.

I do care.
Cause these pecking orders do have a huge influence on how games are officiated. And sometimes the officiating (i.e. Dirk getting three quick and bs foul calls or Malone getting those bs trips to ft line for just waiving his arms and flopping) has a huge impact on the outcome of games. And there you have your W´s and L´s. |
