Since Jan 1... and that joker Steve Kerr!!
Since January 1, here's the records of all the elite teams in the league:
Pistons: 20-6 Mavericks: 19-7 Spurs: 17-7 Heat: 17-9 Rockets: 17-9 Suns: 18-10 Sonics: 16-10 Kings: 18-12 We're the 2nd best team in the league since Terry started and since we have a set starting rotation (barring injuries!) of Terry/Fin/Josh/Dirk/Damp. We have overcome significant injuries to multiple key players and played through arguably the toughest stretch of games. We even had our head coach miss about 10 games, for cryin' out loud!!! Yet that joker, Steve Kerr (not that I care for his opinion too much!) can't find a place for the Mavs in his weekly High 5... incredible!! |

No worries, Steve Kerr also couldn't find a spot for the Mavs in his preseason standings. He predicted the Mavs would miss the playoffs. Do you really want to put any stock in to someone that is that far off?

Steve Kerr also said that the Mavs, Suns and Lakers wouldn't make the playoffs. I don't care for the TNT crew. Kenny Smith kept changing his picks for all-star weekend the guys on the show have no conviction at all.
