Luka isn't playing. Gosh, we might be 2-5 after tomorrow.

Hopefully they let Richardson handle the ball some. In Miami he did that a lot, but Philadelphia never seemed to give him that opportunity.

It'll be well worth it to me, as I want to see what the Mavs can do in the absence of Luka chucking near hopeless deep three pointers. Give the rest of the team a chance to see what they can do.

Agreed.
Sometimes it's time to let the supporting cast step up.
Plus I'm a Mavs fan AND a Luka fan.
I'm in on tonight.

I'm shocked, shocked, I tell you, to get a positive response right out of the gate! I was prepared to be roundly castigated for my lack of Luka adulation.

Powell looks to be a useless on ball defender when guys are driving on him.
Nice, WCS in now.

LOL
It can't get any worse than that disaster game by the Cowboys today.
I fully expect Brunson and THJ to each put up 20+ shots tonight

Dangit, WCS has to go back up with the ball when he's under the rim like that.

I love him, but Rick is going to pull him to coach him.
At least he's getting the PT and the coaching.

Cowboys are pathetic. Even when they're playing decent the coach blows an absolutely critical challenge on an incomplete catch.

Great, more blind refs tonight, who can't see an obvious hook, and then call a foul on Maxi.

Man, I get that refs are trying to give fewer FTs for guys who create contact on offense, but what about guys who just run down the defender? Sheesh

McCarthy is still in the league coaching only because he's won a super bowl
Outside of that super like 15 years ago there's really not a thing he's done to stick around in the league as a head coach anymore.

I'd love to see the stats on rebounding while Powell is out there
I feel like when he plays, we are terrible on the boards.

The bulls are punking the Mavs down low around the rim.

Technically 25th
There are five teams that are worse

And, sadly, it didn't seem to help the Mavs very much on rebounding when WCS came back in, either. He doesn't go aggressively enough for the ball.

That's probably what the numbers say
But the eye test can tell you they are probably worst than those numbers dictate.
I mean the bulls are playing with a 6'9 center in Carter and they are owning the offensive boards.

technically a three-way tie for 25th which means only three teams are worse: Warriors, Rockets, and Raptors
(as measured by rebound % where we only pull in 47.5% of available boards)

Did Powell just airball a point blank layup?! Virtually impossible.
