Indiana tradse
Supposedly, Scott Pollard is on the trading block, how about this deal:
Dallas trades: PF Danny Fortson (3.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 0.2 apg in 12.4 minutes)
SF Eduardo Najera (3.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 13.7 minutes)
PG Tony Delk (6.2 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 0.8 apg in 16.8 minutes)
PG Travis Best (3.2 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 2.0 apg in 13.6 minutes)
Dallas receives: PF Austin Croshere (5.0 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.3 apg in 11.9 minutes)
C Scot Pollard (1.6 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.2 apg in 10.8 minutes)
PG Jamaal Tinsley (1.8 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 1.4 apg in 10.4 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -7.9 ppg, -5.5 rpg, and -1.5 apg.
Indiana trades: PF Austin Croshere (5.0 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.3 apg in 11.9 minutes)
C Scot Pollard (1.6 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 0.2 apg in 10.8 minutes)
PG Jamaal Tinsley (1.8 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 1.4 apg in 10.4 minutes)
Indiana receives: PF Danny Fortson (3.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 0.2 apg in 22 games)
SF Eduardo Najera (3.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 28 games)
PG Tony Delk (6.2 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 0.8 apg in 23 games)
PG Travis Best (3.2 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 2.0 apg in 25 games)
Change in team outlook: +7.9 ppg, +5.5 rpg, and +1.5 apg.
TRADE ACCEPTED
Tinsley, as well as Pollard, is supposed to be disfavored in Indiana. Swapping him for Best might help both teams, because of the different styles they play. Indiana has a whole bunch of guys like Croshere (who's not as disfavored under Carlisle as he was before). The trade still works (with some tweaking), and I'd still do it, if you substitute Harrington or Bender (even Foster with more tweaking--like taking Delk out). Eddie is a big-time tradeable commodity. Indiana could flip him to Houston or San Antonio or Chicago or one of the L.A. teams for a gain in talent because of his appeal to the Hispanic market. Fortson, at least, isn't another tall thin guy.
Dallas gets a more legitimate center, a point who'd fit better here, and another forward who they don't really need, but is as useful as Eddie or Fortson.

RE:Indiana tradse
Sure. Delk and Best are almost worthless to us right now. This would be a fantastic trade if we could get Indy to do it.

Scott Pollard? Hmmm, doesn't sound bad, but this guy hasn't proven a damn thing in the league yet. I see it as sort of a gamble.

Not much of a gamble. We're giving up precious little.

RE: Indiana tradse
You're right. But the thing is... we'd be giving up scrubs who know the system for scrubs who have yet to learn it Actually, not even this can make my point valid, we are giving up best and delk..... you're right, it isn't much of a gamble, in fact, by giving up best we instantly become a better team.

All you have to do to fix it is to edit the first message. The topic can be edited as well as the message.

RE:Indiana tradse
Not sure why Indiana would do this. I think "falling out of favor" isn't a strong enough reason to get rid of players. Maybe they might want Best back. I would do it to get Pollard who will be great against the Kings.
