2024 Playoffs Rd 1 Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers

Worried about the early game, but I can't find much evidence for it. 4-2 in the regular season and one of the two losses was when we pulled all of our starters and some of our bench.

0-1 in the playoffs, but we just had a rough 20min (-24) and outscored them by 12 in the remaining 28min. Just hoping that that rough start was jitters/playoff hangover and not normal for this team going forward. If we got outscored by 5-10 in those minutes, we'd be 3-0 right now.

I want to hear Luka say, ?That was soft? or comments like that every time Westbrook fouls him. I?m tired of that punk and think it?d be funny if Luka got into his head like that.

I dont love that it's an early game, but home crowd has been great and its the fn playoffs. If you arent ready and motivated to go up 3-1, then what are you?

Kawhi is downgraded to out. The pressure of defending Luka was too much for him.

They will be better without this version of Kawhi, at least on offense. He made some bad plays and missed open guys numerous times.

I thought the same thing. Might be better to have a hobbled Kawhi out there from the Mavs standpoint. Put your foot on their throat early and don?t let up.

he's only 27 and has shown that he plays well with what we have here. would be nice to run it back with some consistency in our top 8 and he's definitely been one of those guys. we all hope OMAX will take a step next year but not having to rush him into it would be wonderful.

I've said all year DJJ is the most underrated player on this team

He's fearless on both ends of the floor.

I hope the mavs can resign him but if they get really deep in the playoffs dude is going to earn a nice contract and well deserved

Ok. But you should do this same analysis for the Clippers too. Do they have early games? How does it work for them? Does this make it easier or harder ON THEM. They play an away game. Is there a time difference? How does it factor in?

PJ is PIPPEN-LIKE. That's his POTENTIAL to work on. Can shoot, can defend, can run fast breaks, can dunk. Can do many things like that. Can score a lot. Has a great chip-floater. That's his go-to inside move.
