GDT: Mavs @ Pistons 4/1/16 - 6:30 Central
Mavericks-Pistons Preview
When they last met three weeks ago, the Dallas Mavericks were in the middle of an untimely swoon while the Detroit Pistons had begun to make their climb in the playoff race.
Looking to win three straight for the second time since December, the Mavericks try to move back into postseason position with their fifth straight road victory over the surging Pistons on Friday night.
Yeahyeahyeah
It's not Shaqtin' a Fool day, it's April Fool day! And I've got the perfect fool to pull on those Pistons.
1v5 DUNK TIME!

Play it smart. Carlisle is going to have to rotate the centers. In case of foul troubles. I don't mind if Zaza lays some hard fouls on Drummond. Make him earn the points.

Tonight, Mejri the Mejriant will play the hero role as he stops Drummond's rebounding; however, Mejri will score a 15 point / 15 rebound double-double, helping Dirk and the Mavs get a third win against the Pitt-Stoned and thus move closer to the 6th position in the West (JJB will not have a great game tonight since he will be distracted thinking about changing diapers of his second child who was born last night)....
Mavs - 100
Pitt-Stoned - 97

@espn_macmahon: Proud new papa J.J. Barea is still sizzling: 10 points, 5-5 FG. Now has 54 points in last 7+ quarters.

Not sure what Morris' career high is, but I'm pretty sure he's going to set a new one tonight.

I worry everytime Matthews puts the ball on the deck. His handles for a 2 guard are poor.

Nice contribution Mejri. Happy to see Carlisle putting up with that odd shot blocking DNA of yours.

Salah impact is so huge. I just turned to the game and I seen this:
Dunk put back OVER a Detroit player
Challenged layup at rim changed the shot
Another put back
Steal
Real deal

Yeah... rly don't understand why it takes Lee getting 2 fouls to put Mejri in. It's nice having Wes Simba and Mejri on the floor at once tho. I think I saw a moment where Harris was in there with those 3 also. That's a nice defensive unit that we will never see again.

I'm right there with you. I guess it could've been worse. Carlisle could've waited until there were only 4 games left. LOL
