Well if he was untradable before welp...
I think this will force the Mavs to make a move. He was the only player "scoring" off the bench.

Why does it take THJ going down and being blown out to see Frank again

Because Frank just isn't very good.

Quick glance at it and it looks like around 2 months before we see Tim again.

This game is truly awful and should have been ended prior to THJ’s broken foot.
It was clear in the first that the Mavs could not compete

I guess Brunson hasn’t been too bad, just not quite to the standard he’d set.

In fairness, we’ve played a lot of games lately and Kidd has been playing our core guys a lot of minutes it’s seems to me. GSW came out hot and we missed some shots. Sit the starters and rest up for tomorrow.

Defense finally had a bad game. Porzingis was awful on offense. The bigger deal is obviously Hardaway, and how this might effect any plans they might have been working on.

Our elite defense did not play elite defense today.

Frank can at least dribble, pass and play defense
But honestly I'd rather see Green get all of those minutes THJ was playing and maybe separating THJ and Bullock might be a blessing in disguise

Yeah. In general we have overused a few guys and underused others. Maxi who has been pretty bad for a handful of games needed to have some mins reduced by Chriss IMO.
Green should get THJs mins now and Frank needs mins somewhere too. They are both good defenders who have improved offensively. Kidd needs to loosen the rotations back up.

Maxi is always bad after an injury, but he is seemingly always hurt at some point. Isn't he playing on a sore knee or something?
Again though, we have too many of the exact same player. DFS, Maxi, Brown, Bullock, Green, Frank basically all provide the same thing. Defense and occasionally makes some baskets.

Not sure that's entirely fair. We beat GS earlier. We beat Chicago. We've beaten Memphis twice. We should have beat Brooklyn.
Biggest issue is this team simply cannot hit wide open threes. And our improved defense doesn't really matter when good shooting teams (like GS, Utah, Phoenix), start going and hitting contested shots. We just can't keep up. Luka has looked brilliant lately, but no one around him can hit open shots. KP has been amazing on D, but we can't throw it in the ocean from deep. Shot looks completely broken. Brunson has been great this year, but gets overmatched by certain teams, and also isn't hitting threes. Bullock is a bum. THJ is a bum. Kleber has been a bum. Powell is overmatched by most teams. Chriss can't get burn. DFS is a solid role player who isn't a knock down shooter. Green is still learning.
That's it. We simply don't have any true, consistent offensive weapons aside from Luka. We rely on Luka generating open looks and guys hitting open threes. The former is happening but not the latter. We desperately need a secondary creator/scorer with size. DeRozan/Booker/Mitchell/Lavine/Brown/McCollum type. Unfortunately, those don't grow on trees.

At least Green and Frank can penetrate and dish. The rest can not do that.

Excellent break down
And for the record I tried to be positive about the Bullock signing doing the offseason. I didn't think he would be difference maker but I also didn't think he would hurt the team.
Boy was I wrong because this guy has been a total failure much like J.Richardson and D.Wright before him. Combine that signing with the THJ re-signing and the offseason was a total FAILURE again.
At this point I just the want the Mavs to give Green all of the minutes so we can see if he can develop into a better rotation player than either Bullock or THJ.
