Outside of RB3 2 minute stretch of horror, this was a well played game.

Nice. Memphis was obviously not anywhere near their best tonight, but still a very good win by the Mavs. And though they obviously hit a high percentage on threes to take control, this was much more than a hot-shooting night. Those threes they were making, and even most of the ones they missed, were excellent shots created by uniformly sharp execution of the team's offensive philosophy.

A comment on Booby since I'm sort of his resident fan. I really liked his work in the 1st half, and that made me doubly unhappy to see him be the first guy on the Dallas roster to lose focus in the 2nd half. At least glad that Rick left him in for a while after setting him straight, during which time his effort, if not always his execution, was considerably improved.

Brand continues to look like a different player on the offensive end from the start of the year. This is much more like what I was envisioning when he was claimed off amnesty waivers.

Also, as a parting comment, OJ had a quiet line tonight, but I'm liking the way he's playing lately more than at any prior point in the season. His contributions are just much better balanced.

Could go on about guys who played well tonight, but I won't. Just a great team effort. Let's build on it.

Like to give props to everybody tonight. Sure some things to point especially in the 2nd half but it was the best game of the season, so let's only take away the good tonight.

One guy to highlight: Shawn Marion. Although his rebounding wasn't there (needed) tonight, his improved shooting-percentage over the last three is a huge plus for this team.

€dit: OK, one thing after all: We have always tried to establish Dirk early in the game and now we're force-feeding Kaman instead. I don't get it especially since Dirk himself could use additional touches here and there to round into form. If Kaman is a guy that needed early touches to get it going it would only add to the growing list of reasons why Brand might be the better choice alongside Dirk.

Kaman takes too many outside jumpshots. He should play closer to the basket, let Dirk take all those midrange jumpers and fight for offensive rebounds instead....And when he gets open, Dirk will pass him the ball for an easy dunk or layup. Dirk's not selfish.

Yeah, I really think Kaman needs to come in off the bench. I wouldn't mind him as the first option (or 1a) with the second unit, but he is shooting it every time he touches it early on and you can tell it's keeping the rest of the guys from getting in a rhythm early on.

Also, MMB mentioned a potential trade of Kaman/Dojo for Gortat/Beasley... would anyone else be totally thrilled if we could get that done? Park Beas on the bench immediately if he doesn't work out, and a year from now he'll start picking up trade value as he signed for just three years. I'm down.

Reminded me the good times.
This was the mavericks basketball i know and love.

Let's build on it and keep this winning (WOW) streak alive.

A little pitty that we didn't get the win against the Clippers but let it be.

Let's go mavs!!!

Brand is in way better shape than he was at the beginning of the season. He's actually getting off the ground when he shoots a jump shot.

First win that I missed this season. Meaning the first time I'm using the archive function on League Pass. Finally paying off.

Mmb?
Either way I'd pass on that. You're basically taking on 13.5 mil in contracts for Gortat. Would you pay 13.5 a year for Gortat?

So...Mavs are now 3-0 when I visit the AAC. I'd be happy to expand on this if we can start a ticket fund
