The only thing I really wanted to post out of that is him saying he spoke to DFS and DFS doesn't know if he'll be a Net. You think he lied?

JB for KD is trending, but it's mostly Boston fans saying no JB is 25 KD is 34.

If we offered Wood the most possible, I'd be utterly shocked if he didn't sign it

I've said it before, but I have a good feeling the 4 years and $77MM has been offered. But a guy of Wood's skillset might be better off waiting for UFA and securing a bigger bag. Always risk in that, but he's staring right at the latest direct example in Brunson successfully increasing his value.
I don't see why the Mavs would not be interested in 4/77 at all since at a minimum, Wood would be an attractive trade piece/asset.

Woods decision. Will a contender offer me more money or do I want to play with Luka and Kyrie?
We went from shit ass team that's not even watchable outside of Luka chasing the scoring title to interesting ... 2 days after Kyrie says he wants out.

If i had to guess, 2 years 30m. And I think he will absolutely accept because not many teams are going after his skillset at his price.

Mavs after last night's masterpiece.
Plus I have never really like Batum's game and even if not, he's toast at this point in his career. I'm not giving up both a 1st rounder AND Hardy unless it's for a legitimate wing.

I tried to come up with every Big Man Defender/Rebounder that may be available, who do you want the Mavs to go get?
Jakob Poeltl
Clint Capela
Mo Bamba
Nerlens Noel
Richaun Holmes
Miles Plumlee
Andre Drummond
Isaiah Hartenstein

Adrian Wojnarowski
@wojespn
ESPN Sources: Nets-Mavs trade still hasn?t been made official with league office because Nets are evaluating opportunities to expand deal w/ a third team. Teams are expected to make two-way deal official in next couple of hours ? unless Nets find something bigger to fold into it.

We would be getting Kyrie, but I saw Fred Vanvleet's named floated for the Nets..
Was happy to see Woj say the trade would be finalized as a two team trade TODAY if a multi-team deal couldn't be struck. Don't want this lingering on.

Among the possibilities for expanding the Kyrie Irving-to-Dallas trade before this evening?s scheduled trade call: League sources say that Brooklyn has explored the feasibility of packaging Spencer Dinwiddie and draft capital to Toronto in an attempt to acquire Fred VanVleet. ? via Twitter TheSteinLine

I'd keep my eye on Vanderbilt...lots of rumors he is available, and he is a perfect fit. I'd push hard for that.

I?m not familiar with him other that he is a PF. Anyone you would compare his game too? I?m curious to see how the Morris twin works out for us. I think he will be a solid addition.

Morris seems about done. Only averaging 10 min per game and 3.6 ppg, unless he finds a bigger role in Dallas than in Brooklyn.

I mean he's playing behind probably the best pure PF in the league so there's that.
At 33, he's not amazing, but he plays hard and per 36, he's averaging 12-8-3 on 41% 3pt shooting.
He's got bit Deshawn Stevenson vibes for me. As much as I hate him for being a bruiser, we need some bruisers.

He rebounds. That's all I care about lol. Also a decent passer and scores a little.

I think Meh. Averaging what...2 points a game this year? He will likely see more time on this team, but he's not his brother. So, other than big body off the bench while Kleber is still out, I don't see it.

If we're expanding the trade we better be getting something else good out of it.

I know people always have delusions about their own team getting a great player but I saw a Celtic fan on twitter saying he didn't want to trade Jaylen Brown for KD but he wanted to hold out until Kyrie/Luka explode and get Luka for him. I just shook my head and chuckled. Even Tatum wouldn't get it done.

Shiiiit I probably turn them down if it's Brown + Tatum for Luka. They'd have to include a good amount of picks to get me interested in trading a guy who is on track for a top 5 ever career.

I realize Lebron is all time great, but I don't really care for him that much. Whining when Kawhi didn't go to the Lakers where they'd have a super team, now whining that Kyrie isn't going to the Lakers where they'd have a super team. It's just admitting him and AD can't do it. He has had at least one super star as a teammate every time he won the title, most of the time 2.

I'd be fine with Vanderbilt. He's a better version of DFS overall. I think he would excel with Luka (and Kyrie). Just don't put him on the free throw line. Turrble
