I doubt Atlanta takes two sub-par players for one, and we just get older.

Don't really care for Antonio Davis. Wouldn't give up Walker to get him.
I'd do Najera/Fortson for Ratliff, but Atlanta wouldn't.

No to the 1st trade. We can and should get more. As for SJ's trade, I'd do it from a Dallas perspective, but I can't see Chicago going for it.

RE: Dallas / Atlanta / Chicago trade that would solve our problem
Well, as for Chicago:
They save the money from the Jay Williams buyout / 3 yrs left.
They unload Eddie Robinson and his useless contract / 2 yrs left.
They trade away unhappy Fizer.
for adding Tony Delk.
In addition, they get Shareef (PF) / 1 yrs left and Ratliff (C) / 1 yrs left for Tyson Chandler (PF, but more of a Center Dirk will ever be) and Antonio Davis (old natural PF, but a Center in the East) / 2 yrs left
Which means they save another year in Antonio Davis money (he won´t get any younger) while getting a similiar skilled guy in Theo Ratliff (playing a horrible season, given) and get a more on-court leading Shareef Abdur-Rahim for injury troubled Ty Chandler.
Is this enough incentives to make that deal interesting for Chicago both money and talent-wise? I think it´s worth a thought from a restructuring point of view.
And a front-court of Curry, Abdur-Rahim and Jerome Williams and Theo Ratliff off the bench might work, and if not, both Ratliff and Abdur-Rahim will be in the last year of their contracts next season making them pretty moveable.

Please, get a girlfriend. or a room together, until you can talk about anything that CAN HAPPEN.
