Well I know UD is going to put a voodoo curse on me, but a safe pick is Wendell Carter. He would likely provide more right away versus Bamba or JJJ, and does most things well. Definitely a Rick guy. I think his stock is going to rise with how Horford is playing for Boston. Of all of our comparisons, I'd say he is as close to Horford talent-wise as you'll get. Low ceiling though is unavoidable. I just feel like too many of us take for granted what defensive big man upgrade would do for the team. Someone that is consistent unlike Noel.

Carter is a great pick for a team in the #7-9 range but hell, you dont take him in this amazing draft at #5
