Philadelphia trades: SF Glenn Robinson (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 31.9 minutes)
SF Todd MacCulloch (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 31.9 minutes) Philadelphia receives: SF Tariq Abdul-Wahad (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 31.9 minutes) PF Danny Fortson (3.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 0.2 apg in 11.1 minutes) PG Tony Delk (6.0 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.9 apg in 15.4 minutes) Change in team outlook: -6.7 ppg, +1.8 rpg, and -0.3 apg. Dallas trades: SF Tariq Abdul-Wahad (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 31.9 minutes) PF Danny Fortson (3.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 0.2 apg in 11.1 minutes) PG Tony Delk (6.0 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.9 apg in 15.4 minutes) Dallas receives: SF Glenn Robinson (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 42 games) SF Todd MacCulloch (16.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg in 42 games) Change in team outlook: +6.7 ppg, -1.8 rpg, and +0.3 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Why Philly might do this...... They move Robinson, who they are stated wanting to move, and MacCulloch who will never play again. They get a backup PG, a rebounder who with Dalembert might be able to improved greatly the AI game. TAW who might be able to give them something, if not, they are no worse off than with MacCulloch. Why Dallas might do this...... 3 for 2 deal. Robinson could be a 6th man with scoring off the bench, especially if Stackhouse and all other offensive threats are sent to LA in the Shaq deal. If not, he has an expiring contract. MacCulloch might make it back in a few years, if not, then he is just TAW with the same length of contract, etc. Anyone else think Dallas might Consider this ? ? ?

Philly has a skinnier version of Fortson in Kenny Thomas. I would do that deal quickly if i were Dallas.

Philly wont do that deal. Robinson is about to come off the books.
And you dont want Robinson. His game is similar to Walkers, only he isnt a team player. You get more shooting, less rebounds, less size, less defense. |
