This may be late, but Delonte is playing tonight
Quote:
It's been sounding like Delonte West may return this week from his finger injury, and now comes word from Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News that West will indeed play Thursday evening against the the Heat.
West is still experiencing pain with the finger according to Sefko's report, so he may not see the nearly 23 minutes a game he was averaging a game before he went down with injury.
But his return could squeeze minutes from Rodrigue Beaubois as he re-establishes himself in the Mavs' lineup.

Well to be honest I'm recording the game and will be reading the gdt after the fact or not at all. I actually like the little news blurb.

Less stupid ones that have already been covered elsewhere, yes - no need to have the SAME CONVERSATION in multiple threads. It makes for a sh!tty message board when the message is fragmented...
And dumbass threads like Tomorrow against the Heat in Miami where conversations like this happen don't exactly scream "quality message board":

I get that EL and Chum were playing a bit, but that exchange is 100% DB.com quality - take that retarded sh!t to Fish's board with the rest of the short bus Mavs fans...

You never cease to amaze. Underdog the mighty forum warrior swoops in for another half assed argument that doesn't make any sense. Since when does something that's been repeated become stupid? And since when did message boards aim for "quality", i think somewhere along the line you lost the meaning of a message board. It's simply for what I've used it for, to DISCUSS things. Not to raise to the top of the almighty list of greatest message boards ever. I know I'm right so don't bother replying.

Just being contrary really. Flouting the man as it were, especially thread policing, sheesh.
Also I'm not crazy about how quickly Mavs players are being thrown under the bus these days after just winning the chip, includes fans and mgmnt and I'm not willing to just say mbt is great, let's just wait until they get all of that "Johnny cap space".
Thirdly I'm still pretty butthurt by how taken to the cleaners I have been for this crappy basketball product. I know the players signed off on the schedule, but it was under some pretty strong coercion. I'm not crazy about being taken to the cleaners for 3grand +.
I actually look forward to weeks when there are no home games to be honest because the season stinks, cubes dismantled my favorite team and then shoved this abomination of a season down my throat.
My own doing, but there it is. Worst season since the twans.

So not only does this bozo clearly not read what other people post, he also actively encourages people to not respond to him on a message board.
Well I guess this is why we have the ignore function.

You could just call it '05 if you like.
Speaking of The Employee...there was a great article about him last week. Can't remember the organization...SI, maybe? Anyway, it described his present life, playing in the D-league. Sad, sad end.

I read that. It seems that his ego is still getting in the way of his life. If I recall he could have made a lot more overseas, kept himself in shape, etc..
Probably is going to end badly. Does the nba not have any sort of pension?
