I haven't posted in YEARS, but this is still sad. I had some great moments on this forum from 2006-2011.
Goodbye D-M.com.

In the immortal words of Rick Perry, "adios, mofo!"
I knew there had to be a reason why Murph followed me on Twitter a couple days ago.
There was no better place to talk Mavs than right here. Come on over to Twitter. Me, sike, thig, underdog, kg, TravisRW are still kicking it around.
This place was the shit in 2001. I'm kinda glad some of my posts will be deleted, though.
Thanks DJ & all y'all.

Well, it was fun to be here. I'll miss you guys. Twitter isn't really my piece of cake, but I've made a screenshot of the list, so if there are any news about a new forum for us goofballs, I'll be there.

Maybe if people weren't afraid of starting threads we would have had more topics to discuss and more traffic as a result. So shout out to all the thread Nazis! The demise of this forum is largely in part your fault.

I keep reading this myth, but I have yet to see a thread younger than 5-6 years old to support the claim (or one started by someone who wasn't banned for trolling long before I became a mod)... People post new threads here all the time and nobody yells at them for it.
Go ahead, try it.

And these are the people whose threads you bumped as “evidence”:
Yep, those people were told by this community to stop posting redundant threads as part of their overall trolling several years ago... You keep great company, Murph!
I find it amazing how some of you keep saying how you’re “not allowed” to post new threads, while everyone else has been posting new threads without so much as a peep from anyone else… You put yourself in an unlocked jail cell… It’s still unlocked… Just open the door and walk out.

Wow.
Well I'm definitely glad I randomly decided to check this site after so many years. Great to still see some of the same names (and even threads!), that I would spend countless hours chatting it up throughout grade school and high school.
Six years later, I'm happy to see that nothing has changed. Lots of great memories on here. I primarily used to come here for the game links lol, but realized how great a community you guys have here and really got addicted to this site for a while. This great community is still one of the main reasons I'd love to move to Dallas one day.
Not clear if the sites staying up or not, but it would be a shame to see it go...

The Mavs were never in the Billups race in the first place. Possibly one of the most hilarious threads in the history of internet forums.
I will miss this place.
