Yeah, this hasn't been a very inspiring preseason for us fans, but at least the coaches are getting a good look at the players who aren't on this list...

I'm on board with Dalembert being our 2n/3rd center. Rest him up till regular season.

John Jenkins will be the 6th man if he scores 18+ often like tonight.

Anderson has looked much better. Threw down an emphatic dunk earlier. Mejri has made a few really good passes. Jenkins looks more confident than he has in previous games.

Deron getting healthy and back to his offense looks really good if Jenkins plays like this. Better game than the last 2 that's for sure.

Jenkins already has the spot, but Mejri just leap-frogged him in only a few minutes

Merji might not have leap-frogged Jenkins, but I can't see how McGee is above him at this point when he can't even get on the court.

Well that lineup to close the game was not fun to watch. Anderson at pg? I mean I know we are thin with injuries but that was basically mailing it in. Liked Anderson's defense. Liked Jenkins a lot, 3yrs at 1m each could be an insane steal. Mejri sighting looked solid. Evans had his most active game as well on the boards I believe.

Dalembert actually could be a good end of the bench player. And for cheap cause he needs a spot.

Ok just watched the game.
Likes:
- Jeremy Evans: The guy has an unbelieveable motor, great rebounding, good defense. We desperately need those skills.
- John Jenkins: Nice looking shot, good ball-handling. Hadn´t one like him off the bench last year.
- Pachulia: Man, those picks, he sets, are really solid (Dirk, Wes, Parsons, Jenkins will be wiiiiide-open many times) He´s way better than I expected him to be.
Don´t likes:
Anderson: Dude plays hard, aggressive defense. But offensively there´s so much room for improvement. Does neither have a quick first step nor a reliable shot. Will be fighting hard for minutes under RC.
N´Dour, Ashley, whatever there names are: Boy, those guys didn´t play well at all. Ndour at least with some nice defense. No ballhandling, no shooting. Don´t need any of those guys.
Finally I can´t quite understand what you see in Mejri. Slow, no touch, got pushed around by Kanter. In last night´s game he was better than Sammy, no doubt, but leaving out the upside of McGee to keep Mejri.. I don´t know. Dude seemed to be playing at maximum (especially from a physical standpoint.)

What are you talking about? No one wants to leave McGees Upside out. Hes just never healthy and there is a huge questionmark if he WANTS and CAN play this year.

I thought devinharriswillstart suggested keeping Mejri over McGee would be the right choice. In that case wouldn´t we keep Mejri instead of McGee (and whatever upside he might have)?

Forgot to tweet this, but Carlisle said JaVale McGee is not really close to being ready to take contact or play in games.
