according to detnews.com, because of a "power struggle going on in the front office," j-rich "has told friends that he wants to get out of Golden State as soon as he is able".
any worthy possibility here?

He may want out, but I seriously doubt the Warriors feel the same. He's part of their growing nucleus. They wont trade him. I'm sure they'll just keep him until his contract expires, and then see how bad he wants out.

If he leaves and Van Exel becomes a Knick, Warriors are going to be worse than with the original lineip from last year.

I bet on the Warriors trading Richardson before his contract is up. They didn't draft Pietrus to be a backup. Plus, the Warriors will not let another star go without getting a player in return.
