There is a lot of pressure on PJ after being on a crap nobody cares team his whole career.

But I'm not sure it was worth an almost completely unprotected first just to get rid of Grant who I personally didn't get the hate. He has been really good for Charlotte so far.

Time will tell.

I mean there?s no pressure there and he may be in somewhat shape now. But without doing revisionist history, I was getting sick watching him even have the ball in his hands.

The only mistake the Mavs made was thinking he could be a 3rd/4th option on this team. He is more of a 7th/8th guy. Thankfully Mavs realized the situation they were in and made a definitive move immediately

Grant is a bucket better than his career avg this season, most of which was with us. I'm super happy he is gone. He wasnt what i though he was advertised defensively and at no point could he just get you a bucket when you needed it. He didnt even have potential to provide excitement.

Thj is the only player left that i cant stand watching. He has been here too long, we will have pouty Thj if Kidd swapped Hardy and his role, which is probably what should happen. At least DP minutes are down where they should be.

My only gripe is his outside shooting.

But I know the mavs system is what makes him look bad offensively right now.

They don't post him or use him in pick n roll much. He's never been a top notch 3 point shooter.

The good thing is he works hard on defense and doesn't just jack up bad shots like THJ.

He's not as long as Arron Gordon but I think he could be utilized in similar situations.

Looked it up, and PJ actually has a longer wingspan and standing reach. I think Gordon is a good comparison.

Aaron Gordon is a good comp. I hope they don?t try to use PJ as a spot up shooter aka DFS. That?s not his game at all. He?d be great as an Aaron Gordon type.
