Successful Scenario
Due to Dallas, Boston, and Philadelphia being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Dallas, Boston, and Philadelphia had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

LOL, no way Boston does that. That would be sick though!

Then I'd sweeten the deal with the #28 pick or work a sign and trade to Boston for Terry...

You could also flip flop Damp and Pavel, send Pavel to Boston and Damp to the 6ers keep Daniels and make the deal a S&T of Terry, Pavel and the #28 to Boston for Pierce...

The deal to Philly would then have to be Iverson and Hunter for Harris, Dampier, and Stackhouse.

Dallas
Diop/Hunter/DJ
Dirk/Powell/KVH (league Min.)
Howard/Griffin/Sign FA Harpring or Al Harrington
Pierce/Daniels
Iverson/Sign FA Cassell

76ers
Dalembert/Dampier
Webber
Iguodala
Korver/Stackhouse
Harris

Boston
LeFrentz/Podkolzin
Jefferson
Szerbiak/maybe Sweeten deal with Howard...
Terry
West & #28 Pick

Boston would need a bigger tip. Add Howard to the trade to Boston and it works.

I'd be wiling to do that but the Mavs would need Daniels to shift to the SF role or move KVH down and platoon with Griffin... Who fills in the 3 spot with Griffin MFFL? Could the Mavs then sign Al Harrington or Matt Harpring?

Pierce has played a lot of SF in his career. AI is best as a ball handling SG.

PG: Jet
SG: AI
SF: Pierce
PF: Dirk
C: Diop

We'd lose all our depth so last years injuries would RAVAGE us. We'd need health.

Yeah, but if we somehow got through the season with no or limited injuries, we would have the championship in the bag.

If this trade happened... Dirk, the best player on the team... would get NO touches..

If they won a championship, I don't care who gets the most touches. I love dirk as much as anyone, and I'm sure he would still get numbers, but the Mavs winning it all is the most important thing to me.

bad moves.

you keep Howard. he's your second guy. Pierce isn't exactly young anymore...if you can get pierce, get him, but don't throw your mom under the truck for him.

I don't think iverson is, but it's not like Terry was the next Bruce Bowen.

San An wont trade with us unless it was something like dirk for bowen and nazr.(obviously that aint happening) These trades you have to do but no way in hell either team accepts them.

Where would san antonio put Dirk anyway... I know they sure as hell wouldn't bring him off the bench. Put Dirk/Duncan at the 4/5 spots?

Wow that would be killer lol.

as much as i really like iverson, i hope he never lands in dallas! dude is like one of the most selfish, bad attitude players in the L.
