Just heard on the Fan, that Manny Ramirez is being suspended for 50 games due to performance enhancing drugs!!!
Haven't seen a link yet on the web...but dang, will this stuff ever end? |

The Twins are amazing. How does a budget cutting franchise continue to put a competitive team on the field year after year. Figure in the fact that they lost Morneau several weeks ago, and their "ace" (if you can call him one) Kevin Slowey a couple of months ago. Granted it helps to be in the worst division in the MLB, but still I think they're amazing.......
Unfortunately for them they will be fodder for the Yanks... Oh well enjoy it while you can (about 20 hrs in this case).

Does anyone really care about the NL?
Honestly...I don't know if it's just because I live in an AL city, but even when I see NL playoff games on TV, I'm just incredibly disinterested.

I hate that the Angels moved on, but I think I hate Papelbon even more, so I'll take that result.

Though the LAA´s have played outstanding Baseball throughout the season, i did not expect them to roll in 3 cons. wins vs. BOS.
