Default Scoop Jackson: USA basketball is missing something ... or someone

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...7&sportCat=nba

I am sorry, but this is just the stupidest article I have ever read.

The U.S. team is made up of great players, but none are mean. They're all too nice. No one is going to elbow an Angolan in the chest for no reason.

Had that been Stoudemire instead of Bosh on the other end of that pass from D-Wade against Australia, flying down the lane for a flush, that game is over. Shrinkage sets in on the other side. Their shots stop falling. Confidence exits their souls as if someone yelled, "Fire!"

There is just so much wrong with this stupid article, I don't even know where to begin. I just can't believe that ESPN pays and publishes this guy's stuff. Amazing.

What's more painful? Scoop Jackson's unbearable writing or Chris Broussard's unbearable voice?

Scoop Jackson thinks that is Amare dunks a ball in an international game, that the international players will "get shrinkage" and fade away.

How this gets on ESPN.com and John McCain fails to get his editorial in the New York Times is baffling.

Well, not really.
