well, i did miss three games, but they were my three lowest ranked ones (indy, dallas, miami).
the raiders? just a gut on that one. jets flying out west. thought the raiders defense would come up big and keep it close and hopefully let the offense make a play at the end. turned out it was more the other way around, but it still worked out.
need the pats in a scorefest (over 51) to win my $$ pool for the 4th time in 7 weeks.

KC showing up what the Cowboys did last week...Tampa is a bunch of chumps apparently.
I hate this game. Have I mentioned that?

I should have stuck with my strategy of picking the obvious loser....

Tampa and Chicago really saved a ton of points for all of us by pulling it out. Jacksonville was so close but couldn't do the same.
I can't believe I picked Denver...why did I do that? I was watching the score of that game today just assuming that I picked Miami, because, why wouldn't I? I must have made a mistake.

ya, even though i picked the bucs, them losing would have helped me overall because i only had them with an 8. my theory of the east coast team flying out west to get beat by the raiders paid off once but kicked my ass this week.
i knew i was one bad week from coming back to the pack.

Hey, make your picks you bunch of knuckle heads. It's not as much fun (for me, and isn't that why we're all here??) if you don't.

And remember there's a game tomorrow night, so make your picks before then.

I've made some real good strides in the last two weeks. Things have just come a little more clear I guess. Hopefully I can keep it going.

Who knows. I lose a ton of interest in football once basketball starts, maybe that's part of it.

I am (a little) ashamed to say that I was so thankful for football yesterday during the Mavericks game.

I had a perfect week this week, up until the Monday night game.

So...picking Denver over Cleveland...yeah.
Congrats though.
And if the Steelers and Colts played again next week, I'd pick the Steelers again.

EXACTLY.
This week seems really tricky for some reason.
But I'm not looking back. I made my picks, and 0 second guessing.

Cost me 15.
I've lost the ability to pick football games....
Actually I just have a lot of my points loaded in the late games today. I'm not doing bad at all.

Yeah this game loses its fun with each week with people forgetting to do picks. The nature of the beast is that it's pretty tough to miss a week and make it up.

Leading the league after 13 weeks, I FINALLY have a top performance of the week to speak of....tied with "I pick winners sometimes" whoever that is.
edit: NO! Once again I am beaten. And come on Yahoo, update your sh%T faster than that. The game has been over for a LONG time. Good job peanut to get the top score this week.
Come on Peanut... It's you and me down the stretch, dude

That can't be. Your name is BGMaverick9. And it's different in the damn FF leagues too.
attention: next year everyone uses their d-m.com name for everything.

I tried to be creative with my Team Names and on yahoo, that's an old account with my old ID name.
Doesn't matter on the name...I'm getting BETTER at fantasy sports and picking games. I'll be a force to be reckoned with for a while.
I'll be surprised if I can win this, but I've made a strong run. It's the first time I've consistently done this over the course of a season.

I almost forgot this week. Very nearly.
I fear a down week, a lot of these can go either way.

There were only 3-4 I really wasn't sure on.
I still have a very outside shot of taking the top spot...but pretty unlikely.

Looks like we all picked the same damned teams anyway.
There's a little bit of disagreement on the Dallas game, the GB game, and the BAL/PITT game.
All of us put fairly high points on Miami to beat San Francisco, including me, but I am worried about that pick.

There was not one sane reason for a man to pick Cini to beat the red skins. Not one single reason.

i didn't pick the bengals, i just didn't put many points on the 'skins. i think i had 8, while most everyone else had 13 or so. gotta get your points where you can.
and down the stretch they come, and peanut inches back in front by a nose....

Well congrats to you, Peanut.
You beat me by 72 points...and I didn't do my picks last week. zero points. (screw thursday games)
Could I have got 72 points last week? (Yes, I could have)
But I lose bc I didn't play.
That being said, I like the pick em game. It would have been more fun if everyone had actually participated.

i don't know - points were hard to come by last week. would have been interesting to see how it would have turned out.
in my $$ pick em game, won 4 weeks and the season total and pulled in a nice haul.
