Celtics have to come up with a better shot than that for a potential game winner. Dribble down the clock and take a contested 3?

Tatum pulled an Iggy(LeBron chase down). Probably just habit but he cocked his arm back. He he just flushed it Bam wouldn’t have gotten there. Great block though. Also question the decision to put Tatum on Butler. Would’ve had Smart all the way. Maybe they were anticipating a pick and roll? Smart was stuck in the corner on Dragic.

Precious is the guy in this draft. Maybe. Probably won’t ever be the passer Bam is but maybe has some of the defensive switch ability. Okungwu too but there is no way he falls to us. It galls me that these players all fall to Miami like Herro and Bam. Same crap organizations like Charlotte, Detroit, Cleveland picking garbage year after year allowing good players to fall to them.

haven't really watched them play - Jokic getting the pass out of PnR and then distributing is pretty deadly

watching the clips on defense - lots of grabbing and pulling - i don't see a lot of world class defenders just a lot of "veteran cheating" and hoping they don't get called. Kawhi holding Jokic coming off a screen - i mean i don't blame him - he has no other chance. they scored anyway. Haven't bothered to watch this series but between this and last series he's lost a step for sure on defense. still very strong and smart of course but not top tier as in past years i don't think

HOLY SHIT, THAT THREE BY MURRAY!!! Murray is f*cking COLD BLOODED.
True story- I turned on the game only a few minutes ago, and read the score completely wrong. You see, I predicted that the Clippers would not only win, but that it would be a blowout. So when I saw the score was a 15 point difference, it took my brain a second to realize that the Clippers were the ones down. Beautiful. I'm loving it.

TBH so am I. But I'm not betting against Denver at this point. They're just firing on all cylinders right now, and I think they actually might match up with the Lakers better than the Clippers do in some ways.

What's crazy is that Kawhi had a sh*t game too. Yeah we expect it from George, but not Kawhi.

Btw,how much longer can Doc Rivers' 2008 championship conceal the rest of his playoff record?
2003- Blew 3-1 lead.
2009- Blew 3-2 lead.
2010- Blew 3-2 lead.
2012- Blew 3-2 lead.
2015- Blew 3-1 lead.
2016- Blew 2-0 lead.
2020- Blew 3-1 lead (for the third time.)

Even more damning. There have only been 13 blown 3-1 leads in NBA history. Doc Rivers owns three of them.

Because he has no discipline with his teams. He is the polar opposite in how Rick handles his squads. It's great to be a player-friendly coach until the playoffs come around.

He's like Phil Jackson when it comes to stroking egos
Except he doesn't know how to build discipline and he doesn't know how to make adjustments.
He's just friends with his team

And makes you feel better about Rick holding his players accountable. Sure, you get a Rondo situation here and there, but how Doc could let Paul George play the way he did is unacceptable. Rick would have put a fire under George's ass whether he liked it or not. That's what a coach is supposed to do.

God, the whole basketball world is just crucifying the Clippers right now (rightfully so) and I'm loving it. No NBA season is complete without a real villain, and the Clippers fill(ed) that role beautifully. I don't know that I've ever seen a more arrogant team in my life that hadn't won a damn thing. Seeing them not only lose but get flat out humiliated by a gritty underdog team like the Nuggets? B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.
Also, if there was any question before, it should be settled already; Jokic is the best passing center in NBA history. Yes, better than Walton. Granted, we didn't get to see Sabonis in his prime, but Jokic has earned that title.
Jokic might be my favorite non-Maverick player. I just love his game, love watching him play. Great passers have always been my favorite thing to watch.

This might be the homer in me, but I think the Mavs had a hand in this for sure. When we tied the series 2-2 with Luka and Trey Burke beating them it destroyed any talk of being great or invincible. Paul George got hammered online and Morris exposed as a dirty player. Pat Beverly a no show.
