Why did we trade for Kyrie when we have Hardy and Green? Gotta move THJ please.

If the Jazz lose this game they should just blow it up immediately and give us Markkanen for THJ.

I don?t know if there was ever an official offer on the table in the past, but I really wish we would have flipped THJ for Buddy Hield. Would be nice to have a sharpshooter with Luka and Kyrie.

Nice to be on the winning end for once when your team is playing bench guys all game, and the other team has close to their full lineup.

Underrated aspect of the trade was freeing up minutes for the young guys. Wow. We had no business winning this game.

That was just goddamn amazing. Nico GM of the year for trading for an all star starter without giving up Hardy or Green. FINALLY SMART THINGS!

Mavs have done an underrated job of finding young guys that can ball despite the lack of draft picks. Not just Green and Hardy, Wright belongs in the league. I can even see Lawson and Silva playing roles.
I do honestly wonder if Kidd and Nico deserve more credit for realizing this, but also realizing they had to showcase the vets to maintain their value. If we can convert THJ and Wood to a decent 5 and extend Kyrie we are near our final form.

If Kyrie stays after this season, maybe we think about developing Hardy another season and then trading him for a position of need? That's the only bad thing is he just happens to be a guard, and there's not going to be a lot of playing time with Luka and Kyrie.

Told yall Green was about to uncorked. He's here to stay. Showing he can run the offense too and with aggression.
Hardy proving the handful who say " I don't see what people aee in him" wrong again. Also, Dude is an excellent FT shooter too.
DP with 4 games worth of rebounds tonight.
Very entertaining game to watch. Team win while getting to watch exciting basketball.

I honestly wonder if that's even possible. When he was a FA I believe only the Pelicans wanted him, and we stupidly kept him ourselves. Since then he's been way worse than he was when he was a free agent.

I mean listen, Hardy still has flaws and is growing, but man is he close to D'Angelo Russell without the head case part. Still needs to read the passing lanes better and not over dribble, but those are rookie things easily remedied.
For the first time ever maybe, our present AND future look bright.

Moral of the story is, youre blind if you dont see anything in him. Kid just needs mins. He's learning really quickly. Sure theres some flaws in a 20yr old rookie who rarely gets mins.
If he ends up D Russ, I guess I'm ok with it but he's gonna be better.

Javale went and grabbed the game ball to take to the game ball. Who gets the game ball? I didn't see or hear who. Hardy was great but Josh had big shoes big role to fill and he did it with flying colors.

Hardy and Green both have roles here even with Kyrie and Luka. We do need a do-it-all defensive big desperately.

Curious the handful here that didn't think we had something in Hardy. Everyone was pretty giddy we were able to snag talent in a draft with no picks. I know I had to defend some decisions early on when he looked lost, especially on defense. No question he was going to get more playing time this year and it was only a matter of time. As the season went on, it was clear that was only really going to manifest by releasing the log jam, which is still present in my opinion in THJ. Green is the main beneficiary in that trade with obvious shoes to fill in DoDo leaving. Irving replaces Dinwiddie minutes and more.
I see it playing out where Frank is moved to end of bench as it seems Wright has earned favor and those minutes, unless the illness played more of a role. THJ has either got to get traded or role drastically reduced. Then Hardy will find himself an easy 20+ mins a night for some consistency off the bench.
SL should be Luka/Kyrie/Green/Wood/Powell barring any further moves with Hardy as the 6th man.
