This Week in Sports 7/30-8/5
I'm going on vacation this week, and I'll be without internet. Would you guys mind posting any events, rumors, anything big in the world of sports that occurs during this next week. Last summer when I went on vacation for a week the big 8 team trade too place, so I just know something big is going to happen. It'd be great to come home, open up this thread and be able to see everything that went on in the world of sports while I was gone. Articles and links are appreciated, thanks guys. As you know, it sucks when you're a sportsaholic and you are without sports for a week !

I'm going up to this cabin by a lake, so we won't have a computer. I get to spend the week wakeboarding and tubing

The Cowboys are bringing in former Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Lincoln Kennedy for a tryout. -- Fort Worth Star-Telegram
Devean George and Pops both officially signed with the Mavs too.

USA Blows out Puerto Rico in exhibition basketball game 112-68....(or something like that)
Utley hit streak ends at 35.
Andruw Jones placed on waivers by the Braves, but in a very complicated process, it doesnt mean he's going to move from Atlanta. It's just a way for the Braves to judge his trade value among other things.
Floyd Landis "B" sample came up with synthetic testosterone.......Tour de France no longer considers him champ.
Barry Bonds ejected from game in SF for arguing. In a classy response act, the Giant fans throw beer bottles and garbage onto their own field. Fans later threw bottles onto umpires as they were leaving the firld after the game.
