They do look like easy pickings after game 2.
Looks like it's up to Denver and GS to keep it interesting in the 1st round out West.

There's 6 other teams in the Western Conference playoffs who feel exactly the same way.

No joke, Del Negro--truer words never spoken.
Yesterday I was talking to a friend. The only thing he could do was to repeatedly cuss Joey Crawford over and over. Had we beaten the Mavs in that last meeting, we'd have matched up with the Lakers if the Suns had gone on and lost to the Rockets like they did.

Ugly game... but isn't this Kobe's dream? He didn't want a HOF Center on his team, but some scrubs so that he could carry the team himself. Good luck!

It would have been nice to send the lakers packing, but what's done is done. Besides, Pop hasn't ever played for a specific seed in the past so he'd probably have still rested Tim, Tony and Manu in a game which the Spurs would have lost.

Yeah, it can't be the suns firing on all cylinders and stepping up the D finally. It must be a matter of the lakers sucking.
Maybe if you cry a little more Phoenix will come help you finish off the Nuggets.

1. No one said the suns weren't playing well.
2. The lakers really do suck.
3. The only one crying here is you. But hey, keep looking for that respect. Maybe one day you'll find it.

Well we can't have that now can we? Would it help if we all just pretended that the lakers are a worthy opponent?

I like to believe that the Lakers aren't good, but the Suns make them look a whole lot worse. The Lakers just don't have the personnel to compete with a team with so much offensive firepower. After Game 2, Coach Jackson and all of his players sounded like they were ready to give up. Lamar Odom could barely hold back tears in his post-game interview, they got beaten so handily.
Game 3 will be interesting. The Lakers, I think, are going to try and get physical. Or at least, they should.

LOL! That's the first thing I thought - must make fast breaks a little tougher for Nash.

Well the lakers sure are making things at least entertaining, even if it is only false hope.
And yeah...yellow...orange....very citrus like...not to mention gay*
Why are the Suns slowing things down and trying these half court sets?

Is no one else watching this game?
It's probably better that way. my wife just says to me, "Why do they call so many fouls agains the lakers, but not the Suns?"
Good question

Boy luke walton sure has faded. Is his daddy still claiming he's the best thing since sliced bread?

Lakers win. that's right. Make Steve Cash work for it. Every plane ride to and from is a beating.

This is suprising indeed, but it might not be a one game thing. While I am very sure that suns fans will say that the Lakers will not play any better or the Suns any worse, this is exactly how the lakers almost stole the series last year. They do have a plan on how to beat the Suns, they finally worked hard under the boards for extra possessions. And one more thing, the Suns D is awful. Once the rhythm of the game is slower, and they are not putting pressure on the opposition with their offense they really can't rely on their D as some people are starting to say. Even though they have some good defenders, not great, in Raja and Marion their overall team D is just bad and a structured offense will pick them appart.

Good - no sweeps in the West... Everyone else is going to have to fight for their first rounds too!

Kwame Brown with a playoff career high... let's see what the Lakers can pull out of their butts next game.

I'm hoping for Kevin Garnett but I'll settle for the same defensive intensity.

Well it is only the Lakers.
