Dammit, I'd really wanted to see Moon in the Finals. Allegedly, he'd planned on jumping over an inflatable moon or something.

Me too, I thought he will dunk the true ball with the left and a small ball with the right. But ok, I like Dwight best.

Dwight is a beast, happy to see him win. Happy to see Dirk make it to the Finals.
Very happy to see Diva get booed off. He got cocky too much too soon.

Dwight is the only player in the entire NBA that I would even consider starting to think about trading Dirk for.

The dunk competition had become a joke but Howard and Green really brought it back this year. The superman thing was freakin' greatness. No one else seemed all that impressed with Green blowing out the candle but I thought it was cool and showed creativity we haven't seen recently.
Kapono is nuts. I thought Peja might challenge him but Kapono caught fire and that was the end.
I was happy to see Williams win the skills challenge but Wade was a complete joke. I expected better of him then just felt sorry for him.
Pretty crazy to watch Robinson and Duncan swish half court shots. Maybe Duncan should try shooting more 3's too.

how do you put a cupcake on the rim, blow it out before you dunk and not get a 50? i believe the scores would be a lot more accurate if the judges were allowed to see replays.

Agreed. I thought that was the dunk of the night. Much credit for originality--not to mention execution.

Dunk of the night was Howard's first dunk of the finals. Off the glass with the left hand, dunk with the right? That was fantastic.

That's the tightest basketball pic I've ever seen. Jordan had nothing on that. NO ONE had anything on that.

Those pics are gonna live in infamy. That dunk was the nuts.
Slight nitpick, though. Why put the tape on the floor? He missed it by two feet. Of course no one talked about it, because the dunk was what it was. But that was not the best strategic move, to lay the tape on the floor.

I thought he was clear on the tape thing. Not as bad as Moon (was it moon?) at least.
Anyway, yea those pics are going to be there forever. It looks like they could have been photoshoped lol.

an f'in cupcake! i wonder who was responsible for buying the cupcake and getting it to the arena...i mean the icing wasn't messed up or nothing. that was a 50 on originality alone.
as for the howard dunk, the pic is right up there with the jordan seattle dunk but shouldn't he get graded down for throwing the ball in the rim? does it count as a dunk if you don't touch the rim.

I wondered that at first, too. Especially with regard to the first one. But is it possible that this guy is just so balls-on that his reality looks impossible? I dunno...that may just have been a great photo shot.
