well....that team could've been worse, but what do you expect with an autopick going on. I got my 1 true homeboy, Dirk is going to be a monster this year. I like Calderon, but I wasn't super duper high on him. Hedo is eh, like Mo Williams though.
I guess I'm only down about SG and C. That bench could be putrid though. But hey, what can you do?
I'm EXCITED...BIG TIME about tonight.

Uh question, are we supposed to replace starters who don't have games on that particular day? I keep getting notices that says "so and so doesn't play today" So they have to be replaced each day they don't play? Like I said I'm new to this.

If you have guys on your bench that do have games, then yes...you should put the guys on your bench into the starters who are not playing spots. You can do this a day at a time or do it all at once just by clicking on the particular dates for a given week.

He appears to be turning over the bottom of his roster to maximize his games played.

ah
so some players have a "claiming" process where it doesn't take affect until 2-3 days later, and some players you can instantly pick up?

Well...this is a weird thing about ESPN. Sometimes when you drop a player he goes straight to free agency and can be picked up immediately. But most of the time (should happen all of the time) when a player is dropped they go on waivers.
All the players that weren't drafted have now cleared waivers and can be picked up whenever.

I think if you pick up the player and drop him in the same day, then he becomes a FA not on Waivers. Don't quote me on that, but I think that's the case.
That is good strategy, sike...but it won't work...at least this week, my friend.

It looks like the turnover on the tail end of everyone's roster is going to be at an alarming rate. lol

I'm not doing it. I'm just tweaking the bottom of my roster after watching rotations shake out for one game.
I don't care enough about it to min/max like that, and I think it hurts as much as it helps.

The only people I'd possibly tweak day-in day-out are the last 3-4 roster spots...that's about it.
Is anyone wanting me to change the WW settings to drop the time on Waivers? From 2 to 0?
I dunno if this style of turnover is going to be the "it" thing or just a phase right now.

There's a limit for max games played per week. Are you watching that Sike? Because I think I hit the limit this week without churning my roster.

So we can only play 41 games this week?
I'm not sure what I think about that.

Yes, on our ESPN league you can only have a total of 41 games form your players for the week. That's hard. That's just the ESPN standard we're going off of.
That is the potential blow-back of the heavy turnover of your end of bench players. It's hard to get to that # but it can be done. It'd be more likely if your guys played every night from all the roster spots, but that's hard to do, unless you do a full-blown makeover every day. The fact that teams have nights off and stuff like that help avoid you getting to that weekly limit number.

actually its not that at all. Since we up to 12 playing a night...it could happen in 4 days.
I am one game over right now.

Lol, hey it happens.
I only have two days this week where I'd have a full roster going. That's where the schedule comes into play. You have to think about a BUNCH of things.

It's easy to hit the limit. I'm at 41 games for the week, and I only picked up someone to replace Monta on my IR.

I recommended this and no one joined me. I have no interest in churning the bottom of my roster with worthless players every day.

I like game limits, but I don't see the point of imposing weekly lineup setting. If you want to do your own lineups that way you already can, but if the rest of us want to replace an injured player midweek or want to go after a certain stat we should be allowed.
Plus I know I won't always remember on Sunday that I need to set my lineup.
