Hey guys...what's up?? I boxed up my computer last night to ship back home, since school is almost over, I got finals next week. Anyways, I'm on my friend's computer right now, and I won't be on much for the next week. Sorry about that, but the Mavs will be heading into the 2nd round by the time I'm back, so it's all good .

I was reading thru the Mavs-Jazz "in-progress" thread and I wanted to bring up a couple of comments made by Scooter and Rob. No, Scooter, your gamecast wasn't lying, Mark Bryant was getting some huge minutes. I haven't checked the boxscore yet, but he definitely logged double digits, and was in for the entire stretch run.

First of all, there's no way in hell that was a flagrant foul on Bryant. He came down completely on the ball. Also, that tech was some Grade A Bullshit. Malone should have got one, too. The refs just are used to defenders backing down to "King Karl", and Mark is certainly not going to do that. I think he showed the Jazz we aren't going to back down, and we are going to be a physical presence throughout the entire series. Also, Bryant was incredible on the boards, and his defense on Malone was extraordinary. I've said all along that Bryant was made for the playoffs, and he proved it this afternoon. Finally, how great was that follow-up when FinDogg missed the 3?? What a big bucket.

Rob made the comment that Bryant should be the MVP of this game for the Mavs. I couldn't agree more. Good call Rob .

One more thing, LAMO, I'm not even going to address your stupid comments over in the "Around the NBA" Section, other than to say that today proved that seeds don't always go accordingly . (Indy-Philly)

Ok, we'll I gotta head out for the night, but I'll check in whenever I can. Later fellas, and enjoy Game 2, hopefully with a different outcome this time around.

Malone needs to be taught a lesson I reckon. And good luck on your finals.
