Now that the NBA season is over, pretty much said and done after game 2 semi finals. I nominate Bill Walton. For the Most Irritiating SOB I've ever had to endure as a commentator for the NBA. I give him that award based soley upon the fact that I have been watching/shouting as a fan for 20 years, and just this year found myself shouting AT him to shut up in such vulgar terms, I surprised even myself.

Advertisers AND the NBA really should be taking note. Granted the Nets are not really making much of a series against the Lakers, but I turn the volume completely down during Walton-telecast games. And I find that I really don't pay as much attention to the game--maybe like 40% of my attention instead of 95%. I can't recall a single commercial from last night's game. I have no idea who the sponsors were. How many other people are doing the same thing? "We the undersigned....." |

I agree with Kat....Walton in a landslide. and I also feel compelled to put in an dishonorable mention for that baseball twoheaded monster Bud Selig/Don Fehr. |
