no he didn't. he just forced him into doing his job, and roy isn't cut out to cover ANYONE. notice how Phillips and co. are slowly but surely phasing him out of passing situations? there's a reason for that.

my theory has always been that roy was a good player on bad teams who had nothing to lose, so they let him do whatever he wanted. when you have something to play for, and you have to do something besides try and lay people out all the time, it's harder to look good.

Didn't OU win the National Championship with him anchoring the defense?

Jessica Simpson Brings Tony Romo Home For Thanksgiving

November 26, 2007, 2:46 pm PST

DALLAS, Texas (November 26, 2007) - Of all the things Jessica Simpson is thankful for, it appears a new boyfriend is at the top of the list.

The blonde bombshell is dating NFL star Tony Romo, a source close to Simpson confirmed to Access Hollywood.

In fact, Jessica even brought the Dallas Cowboys QB home to meet the family for Thanksgiving, albeit a day late, the source added.

Because Tony's team was taking on the New York Jets on Thanksgiving Day, Jess' family was reportedly more than happy to postpone their holiday feast until the following day, when Tony, Jessica and the rest of the Simpson clan got together at her grandparents' home in Waco, Texas.

Jessica is just the latest starlet who has been romantically linked to the football star. Following his break-up from country cutie Carrie Underwood, Romo has reportedly been seen getting cozy with the likes of Britney Spears, Brit's pal Alli Sims and "One Tree Hill" siren Sophia Bush.

Coincidentally, before dating Underwood earlier this year, back in November 2006, Jessica was the first celebrity Tony was linked to when he first burst onto the NFL scene.

Great - Jessica Simpson (again)... Look for a dropoff in Romo's performance (again)...

If she's on the field, then I will have a problem.

other than that, work it Tony. You are the starting quarterback of the most popular franchise in the world, take advantage of it.

lol, he doesn't like britney. The same magazine i read that had the article about him not being able to stop talking about sophia said that Romo was disgusted when Britney gave him that lap dance, and frankly, i don't blame him... YUCK!.

This is crazy talk anyway because when this came about last year he said he knew her father, not her. So why would she have to bring him home to meet her parents?

I call BS on Access whateverwood.
